How does the response time for the touch function / processing when controlling HA? It looks a little bit sluggish? I also noticed Shelly just released a new wall display (X2), that looks very promising.

The response time for Home Assistant is pretty good, yes, the new large panel looks amazing!

Does the thermostat side of things only control the shelly range of heating products? Im running drayton wiser heating in my house. I guess i could display a home assistant page of heating controls otherwise?

Yes, as far as I can see this device only controlls Shelly devices directly but you could just run the home assistant dashboard, I switch between the 2 modes!

The temperature is first shown as 22 degrees but in home assistant as 25.7 degrees... is it acurate? Thank you!

@@mice3d I think the change was due to me holding the device. You do need to adjust the temperature and humidity offset as the sensor is affected by the heat created by the device

Does this work with 120VAC? I have Shelly's all over my house and I've always been happy that they accept multiple voltage inputs. Spec sheet only shows 230V.

Yes, it looks like it only supports 230 V. I will ask Shelly if they plan to release a 110 V version

This implementation is just a web browser. Would be nice to setup webhooks or other options to define the screen with buttons and/or information.

@@simonsayshomeassistantLike they have done with their own devices. So it should use the rest API that is build in HA to read the inventory and based on the type of data present a switch or status or both.

I have the latest 2.3 beta5 firmware and it does hide the bar when home assistant is selected. Navigation is done via swipe. It is still a bit experimental, you can either allow swiping out of home assistant or activate the screen lock blocking gestures which also disables any touch functionality to the ha dashboard
