❓4:33 I also created player-groups. Is it somehow possible to change how the groupe-volume influences the individual volumes? Example: How it behaves right now. Group = vol.60 -> vol.30 (60-30) Player1 = vol.80 -> vol.50 (80-30) Player2 = vol.40 -> vol.10 (40-30) (So it's by addition/subtraction of the volume.) ❗Example: How I want it to behave: Group = vol.60 -> vol.30 (60/2) Player1 = vol.80 -> vol.40 (80/2) Player2 = vol.40 -> vol.20 (40/2) (So it's by multiplication/division of the volume.) BECAUSE than the relative volume relative to eachother is kept equal! So if I have 2 speakers in opposite corners, I sit closer to Player2 and I have adjusted their volume so they sound for this position equally loud they still sound equally loud with multiplication/division but NOT with addition/subtraction. I hope it's understandable what I mean. Can someone give me some ideas or help how to achieve this? Thank you all very much!

Although this information is correct, it is no true that the device will stick to that router. After a while the coordinator will chose a different path and ruin all the work done. I've spent lots of time and money to do exactly this. Added a router in every room, connected devices to the nearest one and after a couple of days a mess again. The truth is that Zigbee and the battery powered devices ARE NOT reliable at all. If you want to use them you know that once every couple of months you need to pair again the device, and do not bother to add it to the closest router, it won't last a day.

If you ran the HACS version do you have to uninstall it before getting this? Last time I tried this it was a bit of a PITA to remove and get out of my project to be honest. I ended up turning it off then ignoring the updates that kept popping up. It would definitely need to be less beta than the HACS version which promised a lot but failed to deliver IMO.

Until now, it can't replace the harmony. Switchbot doesn't get the point of the harmony idea. We need scenes with completely free configurable remote Profile. For example, volume will control the avr Receiver while Ch-up and Ch-down will send the specific IR Signal to the TV, within the same Remote Profile. Also, when switching between scenes that include different Hardware, like cinema Mode that makes use of a projector, the logic doesn't know to switch that projector off and roll up the projector screen when switching back to TV Mode... I have the remote here but nothing yet available will solve that problems. Lets hope for some good Updates though...

Great question yes the HACS version was extremely buggy and remained in beta a very long time. It looks like it still is?! For example, It would often stall when playing albums and not progress onto the next rack. It also broke with a HA firmware upgrade and was left like that for months. There was also no samba share feature to set up a music file source as I recall which was a game changer for me.. so I ended up unloading it. It would need to be a Sonos replacement for me to go down this path again. And have excellent Spotify integration (which also won't break in the future). So what is the background about why has this been "officially* supported and how is it different? I think I'll wait for a more detailed review on what's changed. thanks

Thanks for this video, I find it to be very helpful 😀 I think this is just what I was looking for. More detailed and nicer looking graphs than what Home Assistant delivers out of the box, and easy to set up it seems. Was looking into Graphana and setting up up a separate database for it and such. But it would be overkill and quite a hassle to set up for a noob like me (5+ years of using Home Assistant, but still... 😂) Will try to set up graphs with my CO² sensors and see what beautiful comes out of it 🙂
