Part that intreeged me the most was when Peridot says, "That you might care about someone other then yourself." I felt that it was saying she thought she loved her. 😊 Something I forgot to state Dement09 this could have been a joke comic where Peridot is kissed by Lapis and she sighs in relief that she doesn't rember and it would have worked for me, but you went further, and I love it, also good job with the voice work Shelly Kitten.

This comic is so amazing, and my absolute favorite piece of Steven Universe fanwork. This portrays a big issue i see with Lapis and Peridot's relationship in the cannon, and Peri's rant at around *10:00* outline pretty much why i dislike Lapis as a character. I acknowledge that she has trauma she needs to work through and that her ptsd has an impact on how she acts, but becoming the abuser( i use this loosely, because I am not sure I would go so far to say Lapis is abusive, but she definitely isnt completely nontoxic. I just wasnt sure how else to word it.) is not the answer to how to deal with said trauma. Especially when she leaves Peridot to go to the moon, taking the barn and Peris whole life with her. It sends Peri into a depression, and Lapis clearly was watching Peri during this time as she tells Steven that right before(or maybe during, i don't completely remember) that she was indeed watching Peri. She still decided to stay on the moon, stalking Peridot and doing nothing until finally returning however long later, and she has virtually nothing to say to Peri about what she did to her, even later when they couldve had a chance to talk about it, theres no evidence that she ever acknowledged what she put Peridot through, which I find incredibly toxic. (Keep in mind i havent watched su future so im not sure if shes better then. I sure hope so though. Shes a character i genuinely want to like, but i cant given what ive seen so far.) Lol this wasnt supposed to be a rant about Lapis but here we are lol.
