TY for this. My precious cat also came from PetSmart adoption room back in 2008. She passed in 2022. Best cat ever. I have been so sad ever since she passed. Functioning of course but so so sad. When the lady in the vid mentioned "mental health" that lit a light bulb in me just now. TY TY. I think I am ready for another little guy or girl. TY😻😻

Im so sorry for your loss. Adopting another precious angel is the best thing you can do. ❤ When my first cat and reason to live passed, i let myself grieve for a bit and then went down to the shelter fo find another kitty who needed me. As i looked across the cages a pair of soft blue-grey eyes met mine, and they were full of the same grief and despair drowning me. Katies human had died, and the womans horrible children dumped her little angel in the shelter. When i asked the employee about her it became clear she was meant for me. The purr baby i was grieving was a ragdoll, and she had developed diabetes in her old age. (She wasnt fat or anything, she just developed it) Katie was a ragdoll (albeit a backyard breeder one) and the employee told me "sorry, shes not available for adoption yet. Our vet has diagnosed her as diabetic and we need to get that under control before we look for a family for her". What they didnt mention was that she also had special needs mentally. Tbh im not sure they even realized that. She was like someone with downs syndrome; she was simple minded and didnt always understand what was happening, but incredibly sweet, innocent, and loving. I went back every day for a week, falling in love with this little sweetie who was every bit as heartbroken as i was. After a week i was 1000% certain we were perfect for each other, so i explained that i was actually already trained in caring for a diabetic cat, and had a great vet. They decided that in that case i could adopt her then, as long as i took her to my vet the next day and we began treating her diabetes. Her innocence and love saved me. She was a little fluffy blessing, and i was so lucky to have the chance to love her. :) Hopefully the universe will see your heartbreak and offer you the baby you need too. ❤ Your darling girl would want you to be happy and loved again

I just love, Odie. I suffer with depression and I have a cat Phoebe and she knows when I need her and it always amazes me. I could be laying in bed reading a book and maybe something in the book made me sad and right away. She’s on my lap. She likes to also get under the covers and it’s just so adorable, she really help me with my depression. She gives you unconditional love she doesn’t care what you look like what you do for a living what you smell like she only cares about love she gives you love and you give it back to her. Very moving story.I have a few things to tell you.Biscuit making in your case is a sign of wanting treats.But actually is a way of telling you that he missed cuddles and milking from his mother.Which you try to fill with treats.Do hug him at least before because he's showing you his vulnerability. About eggs you should ask your vet how many he could eat per week.If he says there's no problem try to give them roar to him They love them that way and are pure protein. Your cat is lovely.His eyes are bewitching.Its normal to follow you to the bathroom.He thinks he's your bodyguard.Love your story.
