Does anyone know The name Jay Booker? I was told he wrote Sunday in the South. The song fits Jay’s home town. He was a song writer. The little town was around a paper mill and it’s just like the song. It has little houses that are in a row , has a little Barber Shop, a big Baptist Church, all are in the song

Justin Smith that song perfectly fits a little town near where I grew up. There is a paper mill with a neighborhood of little houses that are lined up in a row up and down each little street, there is a barbershop and a Church all just like the song. I was told the song was written by a guy that grew up there and went to Nashville. Jay Booker. Not sure if it’s true or not

The impact that they have on your spirit when you hear them singing those beautiful songs , to me there has never been country music that has impacted me The way that these guys sing country music.
