Hi! I have the MX01 model, with a DMHC brand 18a controller and display. I'm having problems as the bike suddenly stopped working and now it indicates empty battery (which is not) and it doesn't accelerate nor indicate any speed on the speedometer. So I've bought a 25A controller with display. I wish all the connectors work for the new controller, so that I only have to adapt the battery teriminal. Do you think I'll need to buy anything else to make it work? (I hope I can still use the throttle and not having any problems with the pas sensor) Thanks.

the original bike was very reliable, i didn't have any problems, but i didn't try it on demanding climbs. in any case, I do not recommend it for mountain bike use, because it is hard on the steepest climbs, due to the too long ratios. and excellent instead for trekking in the plains and hills

Got MX03, mine go to 48-49km/h from factory, doesn't change anything. Do you have link for the part you add to yours ? (specially lcd8h, want to replace the m5 screen)

if you want to change the display you will necessarily have to change everything... control unit, accelerator, pas sensor. Try the top speed with gps

E una bici molto appariscente... Io vivo in periferia quindi non ho molti problemi.... Ma quando entro in centri abitati la setto subito legale in un attimo... Basta entrar nel menù e settare 25kmh e disattivare l accelleratore... Cosi son apposto. Pero non e proprio legale al 100 percento per il fatto che ha un motore da 1000w. Ma non credo che si mettano a spulciare tutto, l importante e che non vada l acceleratore perche e la prima cosa che si controlla ovviamente. Però se la vuoi usare in centri molto trafficati ogni giorno per andare al lavoro stai attento perche se succede qualcosa si puo andar nei casini. Io la uso anche come tragitto casa lavoro ma cerco di far strade secondarie poco trafficate

@@lighthousestudio9159 a me non hanno mai fermato, ma ci sono centri città che sono molto piu fiscali i vigili perche sai com è ormai tra monopattini che sfrecciano e ebike e un po una giungla. In periferia manco ti guardano... ma ovvio basta usarla in modo intelligente. Esempio a napoli so che avevano allestito additittura dei rulli per testare le velocita max dei mezzi, ma li e un altra storia. In ogni caso basta usarla normalmente nei centri abitati e stai apposto senza farti vedere sfrecciare a 45kmh con l acceleratore ;) e se vuoi star sereno la limiti temporaneamente dal display. Poi ho messo pure un adesivo sul motore che copre la scritta 1000w con uno che dice 48v 250w... Io non ho mai avuto problemi

no hay cable para entrar en el menú de ajustes tienes que pulsar los botones arriba y abajo al mismo tiempo

Did the new kt controller wire straight in or did you have to change any terminals?

you have to change the power connector, which goes to the battery

Could you give me any advice.. I just installed kt 25a controller on my bike. My batter is 48v 21ah and I can only get it to go max speed of 36 km/h. Could I be missing something?

what model of bike is it? What display did you mount with the controller ?. there are various settings, try to see if you have set the speed limit in the display menu and check that you have set the wheel diameter correctly

@@merisicrisma It's not well known. It's an ET Cycle. I had the bike up to 40km/h with the original set up so I know the battery and motor are able to achieve that speed. I got the speed all tuned in with the p settings and using gps speedometer on my phone to ensure. My Kt controller will pull just about 1200 watts so power isn't the issue. I don't know the details of the hub motor.. so my P1 settings might not be accurate. But I've set P1 at many levels between the minimum and maximum levels and none of it makes a difference on the top speed at all.

@@merisicrisma I've set P1 at 90, 100, 120, 180, 200 and the highest 255 I believe. Top speed stays exactly the same. I don't know how much p1 matters and if I'm possibly just missing the sweet spot in the settings

I have the MX02S. Pretty much the same electric hardware: The maximum output I've seen is 7Amps at 50Volts => That is 350Watt

@@leoa4c I bought mine in july 2022 it has now 2200km on the odo, and it is still as good as new. No issues with the brakes or battery. I check all bolts and screws every so often just to be sure (I don't want to crash doing 40km/h). I had one flat tire. Also tire wear is no issue I race corners like on a street bike (flat as possible). I'm pretty rough on the speed bumps. The weakest link of the bike is the front fork but the rest of the bike is awesome. Brake levers are really impressive also the switch to disengage the motor when braking works so nice you only have to feather the brakes to stop the power which I use when entering a turn.
