@sopothetocho No, Dreamcast used Sega OS. And each game loaded its own OS from the disc. That could be the Katana SDK OS, the Windows CE SDK OS or nowadays, for homebrew games, the KallistiOS.

I got the Soundtrack to shenmue 2, and after listening to all the songs, none were remotely close to this one. Four however would not play, titled "Hong Kong Battle 1" -- "Inside Black Heaven Building" -- "Langhuishan" -- and "Learning from Jianmin-San". If you find this song though, let me know. I'll go over the songs I do have one more time, to be sure.

@gustoThegangsta I always preferred the Dreamcast version. Graphics and loading times are exactly the same, the D-Pad is far better and the graphics don't look like they've been washed 20 times.

not quite. on the dreamcast Shenmue 1 has english dialogue/subs, Shenmue 2 only has japanese dialogue and english subs. On the xbox it has been localized, thus the english audio!

The nostalgia that I just got from this was crazy. Like someone said in the comments the half and half disk with JSRF and sega gt racing had a trailer for this and I watched it like 100 times. The game was honestly too much for me I would have been afraid to challenge Lan Di and stuff. Music is amazing also.

Oh shut up. If you truly love shenmue you would want it on as many platforms as possible. I wish it was on the PS2, Gamecube, dreamcast, and Xbox. Maybe if this happened we'd have Shenmue 3 now.

lol The Xbox is like 10 times more powerfull than the dreamcast, I like both console but seriously dont say stupid things like that! at the time the Xbox was the most powerfull console on the market. And after the fall of the dreamcast sega survived because of the release of many dreamcast games and its sequels on the xbox. Microsoft & Sega allways have been good partners even when the Xbox wasnt around the Dreamcast used a version of Microsoft ´s Windows as O.S.
