The whole game teaches it, esp the first one with all the waiting and no option to skip time

This portion of the game is a lot more fun than it had any right to be. And while i was already a pretty patient person as a child, this segment of the game reiterated the importance of patience to me so perfectly. You do seemingly pointless tasks for what feels like hours (and in game time literally days!), but in the end, there is a good reason behind it. You just have to stay patient and diligent, and your reward will come. Yu Suzuki dishing out the life lessons ;)

It was awesome when you mastered it and held run down constantly.

I was a very impatient kid when I played and took the same lesson from this part of the game.

Ryo Hazuki - Finds perfect balance when doing "Windmill" or "Cyclone" but has shit balance on planks of wood and carrying books that seem perfectly okay to run with.

This part of the game would have been a far bigger pain in the ass without such a great tune to accompany it.

I almost always listen to this music all the time. When ranking leaves or shoveling snow! 😊🤗

Oh heck yeah! I was really needing a one hour version of this song today to go rake the leaves outside. Thanks Shenmue Dojo :D

Recently played Shenmue 2 for the first time and this sequence showed the power of music, the rather mundane boring minigame became enjoyable because of the brilliant music

este juego junto con el 1 tiene un algo.... no se como explicarlo, pero ese algo hace que ambos titulos sean unos de mis pocos favoritos

There is a bit in "Life is beautiful" from Deadly Premonition soundtrack that always reminds me of this tune.

Wouldn't the humidity, sun and wind be more damaging to the books? But best song in the game!

Loved and also hated this part of the game. If you rushed in making the Q.T.E super fast you would lose almost every time. Patience is a Virtue.

Great music but the actual Airing Out The Books gameplay/event was terrible, might not have been so bad if you only had to do it one time but that's not the case! Didn't get paid for doing it (guess scrolls might make up for that) and if you tried to run while doing it the QTEs were too quick to keep up most of the time.
