The controls were awkward in the motorcycle minigame at first, but then again you realize that the controls are meant to me a nod to the game "Hang On".

Yeah. I liked how some of the arcade games were there not for entertainment alone but for practice as well such as the QTE arcades. I wonder if we'll see Ryo piloting a jet since Afterburner was in Shenmue 2!? Lol just kidding.

This whole scene was so deep, dramatic, and action packed where Ryo literally risks his life to once again get Nozomi out of a tough jam. It's just tragic that he was so clouded by his father's death that he couldn't allow himself any moments to be vulnerable with her otherwise the stuff he does for her during the game (including this scene) would hold so much deeper meaning because of the emotional stakes involved. To some extent, I think as much as it hurt Ryo to have to leave Nozomi behind as she went to Canada while he went to China I think he was relieved because now she would no longer be a target wrapped up in his family drama as Terry easily could have had her killed in this scene to really make Ryo feel guilty. Noticing how Japanese gang members seemed to be behind Ryo's father''s murder, Nozomi could have easily become a casualty as gang warfare is known to target anyone on good terms with rivals be they friends or relatives.

Yeah I figured it out, I'd forgotten to save the night before and suffered the pain...2 and half hours, it's been 20 years,,,,I guess I'd forgotten but the forklift trials were a head f*ck then go through the whole Nozomi's been kidnapped thing how do I get there thing 3 times, It literally brought me to tears, cos I couldn't turn it off because I'd made so much progress. Making that timer felt like an *Achievement Unlocked* moment.

Jesus Christiano Lol, not as bad as my case though; Disc 3 won't even load on my Dreamcast.
