The album was exactly what she needed to do as a debut album. It would’ve made more sense to have this one first then alpha after. She tried to run to fast and actually on Instagram live said she was done making Dancehall and bashed Jamaicans or as she calls it here “Core” but when the other songs didn’t pop she came back to Dancehall. All in all great music from latest body of work though!

5:13 Jamaicans are always unfairly put in competition with bigger landmasses. Track and field with America when we have like 1% of their population. You could fit the entirety of Jamaica in Texas and still have room. Now we are in competition with the entire continent of Africa to produce musical hits consistently with 3 million people. There's was a trend in Jamaican music that wasn't very palatable for international audiences and some of our bigger, well known artistes started to miss on new releases. Give us time to get back. Have you heard Nigy Boy? There is your Jamaican hitmaker. Use those songs
