Let's normalize saying a song isn't good... Shenseea has one of the largest dancehall fanbases and even us fans were saying it isn't good... So now we are haters? That's a silly mentality...

Her fan base on social media aside. The caliber of music she did in the past as be great for the most part but this song is mediocre. This is a cookie cutter song try to fit in the space of the market but she should remember that 99.99 of song that come out Jamaica and hit globally are strong dancehall songs. Main stream people who know nothing about music will hype this song...

I don't give a damn weh Shenseea a seh boh she neva mek it fi we, and even di people dem she mek it fa na feel di song. I commented on another video and a reply to my comment said this and and couldn't agree more . . . "Soca and dancehall have yet to be a known genre in first world countries and it's because we haven't had much representation that stick to the program and stick mainstream on a consistent basis. What I noticed about reggae and Afrobeat artists are they stick to it and because of that they have successfully created a genre. I know it's her life but, she has the ability to bring awareness to a culture that is used constantly and never rewarded."

Bredrine, you are absolutely right. She is talented but this was a mediocre song with pathetic visuals. The beat however was straight fire. It seems like they have very little understanding of the market they're trying to break into. Americans LOVE our authentic Jamaican-ness with a little Hip Hop flavor. That applies to both our sound, and our look. Who the hell approved that outfit? I think that her current management team lacks the depth required to take her to the next level. Young lady, hire consultants to augment your team. Loyalty only guarantees service, but expertise is what will get you results. You need to understand the value of euphemisms and being cleverly suggestive. It's dangerous to try and copy a culture you don't fully understand, you run the risk of coming across as a cheap knockoff. Go back to the drawing board and take your time. Instead of getting offended by the negative commentary, use it as a resource to understand what not-to-do next time.

If anyone was to watch Angie Martinez Power 105 fm interview in the US. She is telling Sheensea indirectly to stick to the Jamaican sound. When Shen was saying she is trying not to sound that way. The market wants unique overseas just like Foods from Jamaica. We cannot comptete in quanitity however uniqueness, Jamaica quality and flavour example Scotch Bonnet, Pimento and Ginger is the unique Jamaican flavour. She has the big budget just keep the Ja sound. Wish her the best with the new experiment. I was overseas at school and pull out a bag of Ginger biscuits from yard and the entire class went crazy and beg out the whole biscuit.

I don't really care for the song, but content aside, as a song it's not as terrible as ppl make it sound. However I will say that had it been Cardi/Nicki and Megan singing the exact same song, word for word sounding the exact same way, I'm pretty sure the reaction from Caribbean fans would have been a lot more supportive.

There are over 20 reaction videos each with over 10 thousand views each. The song did what it was made to do. Get Shenseea in the International market. Before you talk, check the facts and numbers. Right now Shenseea has been welcomed into the Cardi B's, Meg Da Stallion's camp.

The song is filled with cliches and a clear agenda that's why we don't like it. It was lazy, lacks creativity, lacks style and shows she's taking little pride in her work in recent times. Ishawna's song did well because it was a great song, you can't just sing a song for shock factor then get upset when we say the song is trash, that's fine, wheel and come again independent gyal, and stop sing shit in the name of international.

It’s not a bad song it’s just different to her regular audience. She’s expanding as an artist so she versatile as an artist

Being versatile don't have anything to do with be mediocre. That song don't come up to the level of her past songs, plus having such an enormous colab, one would think she would have brought her A-game but that was way below standard grade...

@@123kjaah I understand but as a growing artist with a vast catalogue of hits, it’s her first like this and it’ll get people into her other material. I think people just should take it for what it is as a collab with a major artist in the US getting her some new fans
