Bro, I was always considered weird in my 20s being in the Army where a lot of Samoans are. They thought I was weird because of my style and taste in music, but haven’t faltered in the past 20 years. Holy shit, you guys are tight, right down to the sound, look and execution you've got a fan for life. I'm a 45 year old Samoan born and bred on the North Shore and raised listening to metal bands, like Metallica, Slayer, Iron Maiden and Megadeath. BOOYA TRIBE (Samoan Metal/Rap OGs), I remember when they 1st came out, no one, not even the Americans knew what to make of them, they came out before their time, as know one had mixed Gangster rap and Metal before lol, but I was hooked. There was also the influence of growing up around a lot of Palangi and Maori mates into the same shit back in the 80/90s. Many of my P.I friends thought I was listening to the devils music as they were all church youth hard lol, but I couldn't deny the amped and pumped up feeling being a metal head. This genre it's so unique in it's own way, having actual connections to classical music which I have grown to like also through the years. Keep head banging boys and may the Metal gods shine upon you always, look forward to seeing more in the future.
