Me too. Nice, but got to go now, so I'll have to come back to it.

Nice. Curious about the LED patch cables with the alternating color. Is that color change based on the signal? Positive vs negative signal attenuation or something?
@ClausGahrn8 ай бұрын
Thanks! Yes, the color is based on the signal. It changes according to polarity: red for negative, blue for positive. The cables are from MyVolts.

11:40 is a nice gong with a friction mallet. MoOg is very under priced

Can you make this machine play in specific keys to fit the other instruments in the mix so that everything is in tune?

In this piece I used MIDI to control both synths. If you do not use MIDI, you can program the sequencer on the Mother-32 to play in a specific key.

Hi, I love your videos and was wondering if I could get your opinion. I have a matriarch and grandmother, do you think there would be any value in adding a subharmonicon or mother32, to the setup for generative ambient or do you think I should just stick with what I have? I feel like the subharmonicon’s dual sequencers and polyrhythms have more options than the sequencers on the matriarch and grandmother. Am I incorrect in thinking that way?

Thanks! I think the Subharmonicon is a very unique instrument both in terms of the sequencer and the sound itself, and I really enjoy using it in my setup. However, the sequencer is quite different to a traditional sequencer, and it takes a bit of getting used to. I approach the Subharmonicon in a different way than the Grandmother, and I find that it works well for me in my generative work.
