Great video! Keep up the good work STC..Just stayed there a little over a week ago and was very satisfied with the resort. Only drawback is the ocean is not swimmable like you said in the video in front of the resort!

Absolutely love this resort! My wife and I spent our 40th anniversary here! I actually had a spiritual connection with my son, who we had just lost a couple of years prior, at the beach. It was unbelievable! What a beautiful place!

So one of the complaints Ive seen about this place between yelp, tripadvisor, and even the kauai subreddit is the cockroaches. Did you happen to encounter several of them while you were there?

Hi Josh. Didn’t see any, inside or outside, and we where there for six days. Everything seemed well kept and clean as well.

Do you know how deep the pool went? I know a lot of resorts only have 3 foot pools which is disappointing.

Are there planes that fly over al the time being close to the airport?

I don’t recall any airport noise I think the planes come in from the south to land. This area is more laid back than the Poipu side. Any hotels near Poipu on the beach are crowded & noisy

Would you stay here again, on the east , or would you choose the south/north side instead?

If you want some quiet beach then this is a great choice. We found it to be more relaxing than other hotels in the area

Why can you not swim in the ocean there?

While we were there which was December the water was really rough the entire week. They had kite surfers Using the wind & waves. Maybe it’s better in the summer but certainly not in the winter months, that’s why I mentioned there are better beaches to go swimming & snorkeling. We did a couple of videos of the island that might be useful if you are planning a trip. Thanks for watching 🙏
