The Sheraton Waikiki is our favorite also. One hint: skip Lawson Station and go a few extra steps into the Royal Hawaiian Center to the ABC Store for better prices. Better yet, go out to Kalakaua Avenue, make a left, cross the street, and go into Walgreens to shop for drinks and snacks for your room.

@ I’m not sure as I just took my family back there in February. Have you ever stayed in one of the rooms classified as “diamond head ocean”? The views are even better than the ocean front views.

That might be the nicest Sheraton I’ve seen in the US. If you ever go to Hong Kong, the Hyatt Centric there is really nice is one of the best for the brand. I got to stay there and the Ritz Carlton HK recently.

Hyatt vs Sheraton what is your prefer choice for elders?

We would probably recommend the Sheraton over the Hyatt Regency, especially for elders. The Sheraton is smaller, so it's easier to get around, plus there seemed to be more elevators at the Sheraton. Thank you for watching!

The beach is not rocky and there are a ton of restaurants just outside the hotel. You can just walk around without driving.
