Your videos are awesome. I really enjoy the testing. I have a couple questions for you. 1. Heading into 2021 which bike would you select for the PNWMA series Sherco, Beta, KTM ? Do you see many husky or KTM 150’s 2t racing? Would a Beta 200 or husky 150 do well in the senior classes ?

Personally I've lost interest in racing for the most part. I do see some 150's in the series, the 2020-2021's are really good, it and the Beta 200 would do well in the senior class. I raced a 200 for a few years.

Hey Greg, how does the 250SE compare to the 250TPI. Power, handling and weight are items of interest. Thanks Nick
@PNWEnduro3 жыл бұрын
The TPI will have a smoother more "electric" feel. Both have plenty of power but the tpi probably pulls harder throughout the rpm's but feels softer off idle. Weight is pretty close I think. As far as handling the Sherco feels smaller and changes direction quicker. Off the floor the KYB suspension is a lot better than the stock KTM suspension I had on my 250xc.

Hey PNW thanks for your videos, they are very helpful. I just sold a 2014 Sherco SE-R250. I'm thinking about what to get next. I could never get my old Sherco to corner particularly well in the really tight stuff. I know they made the head angle steeper on the newer frames. At 5'8" the bike was very tall for me as well. Could you give me an idea of how this bike stacks up in seat height to a Beta 200,250 or KTM XC-W 250? Thanks!

Seat height was similar to my 250xc, the bike feels a little more compact than my ktm. Turning radius was good but not as good as the KTM’s are.

The bike manufactures actually have a good reason. Most bikes are imported as "closed course" bikes. Put a spark arrestor on and it changes the classification and the bikes would need to meet much stricter emissions regulations at a cost of performance and higher price tag. Have you seen the goofy pipes that come on bikes in Australia? Long story short it's cheaper to add on a $250 S/A than the alternative.
