Awesome collection. I still have my 1977 blue streak that i got from my grandfather when i was 9 in 1883. I still shoot it when i can. When i was a kid, the hardware store in town sold the ammo in the yellow box. Thats all i shot. Great vid!

Bought my Silver Streak in 1980. Had it refurbished about 10 years ago and added a 4x pistol scope. Looks and operates like brand new. It’s crazy how accurate it is. I’m 56 now and still love shooting it.

I had a blue streak as a child and had more fun than I can describe. I went on a collection binge about 5 years ago and now have 9 or 10 really nice Sheridans. Some are 1960s models. Have a silver streak and even a CO2 model. Sheridan made a very accurate and quality air rifle.

Wow, you really brought back some great memories for me with this video. My dad bought me a Blue Streak in 1966 (when I was 8). I had a 4X Weaver scope mounted. I almost never let that gun out of my sight. 😂

Hello, I live in Racine, WI all my life. I have 2 buddies that worked at Sheriden. Up until closing in1992. Sheriden had 3 different address locations thru the years. Named after the address street name. Sheriden's final location had a modern style building built not far from Sheriden Road on Chicory Road, they merged with Benjiman Air back in late 80's and become the name "Benjiman/Sheriden " still made in Racine, WI, then they were starting to transition production to New York were Benjiman's were still being made. Crosman merged with Benjerman and that was the end of the Sheriden Air Rifle. The building still stands on Chicory Road, sold to another company selling a different product does not relate to air guns. Every time I drive by the building, I tell whoever is with me, that's where the Sheriden's were made. Back in the day. SAD, THERE NOT AROUND ANYMORE. I LOVED THE SHERIDEN PRODUCT, Costly but worth every penny. The Benjerman's were nice air rifles also but went downhill when Crosman took over.

Had a pair of these back in '74, think they were both Blue streaks. Their power impressed me and they were fun to shoot. Took a duck out of the air with one of them...best shot of my life...not duck season, but I think the statute of limitations has long passed, I hope. LOL At 50 feet or more they would put a hole clean through old style Pepsi cans with no trouble at all. Had to sell them when I left the Air Force because I was dumb and had some financial problems. Of all the things I've had in my possession throughout my life, I only regret selling two of them. Those Sheridans and a '72 Rally Nova Chevrolet. I've tried locating both the guns and the Nova, but no luck. Glad to see someone is keeping the Sheridan guns alive and caring for them. Thanks for the video.

Cool video and very nice collection! I have a 63' (first year of the rocker safety) I completely restored, and a 57' thumb with the hold down safety, you can just feel the quality when you pick one up. Made in the USA, when the quality of your product was taken seriously. You won't see that again.

only the barrel will get loose after a time and with a scope and heavy pounding with pumping , .the seals wil last long if you add a drop of pell oil or silicon oil in the air intake at intervals time or use related , and store the gun always with a few pumps of air ,some models wil only pump with the hammer cocked .they valve is open after the shot ,you have to cock first then and relase under control the hammer ,and some have two cocking modes ,set the at the first when storing the gun

The thing you have to watch out for is the infamous barrel separation from the air tube. The barrel was soldered to that air tube. What causes it is the rear sight. It is wedged with significant strain between the barrel and air tube. Hold it up to a bright light, and the one's that are effected you will see a tiny gap letting light come through. If the gap is small in length, it will only spread and get longer in time.

new subscriber here .Mine are pretty beat up , I remember reading that when they sold the company they started mix matching the wood and I love the knowledge you shared about how they will separate the tube if the scope was mounted wrong . About 20 years ago these were giving the break barrels of the time a run for the money. I still think they are superior to a lot of the high end poo China shoves out .

I have a blue streak my dad bought for me on 4/1/68 for 29.00 dollars. I still have the card that has 1 year guarantee. I was 10 at the time. I put a scope on it. I put 5 pumps and at 25 yards get groups of 10 you can cover with a quarter! I shot it today and never had to repair it. The guarantee expired over 50 years ago so 😊

Just took delivery today of my first Sheridan which is a mid-1950's model. Something around 1954 or 55 according to the description I read in Wikipedia. Her seals are leaking a little but I think that I can fix that. Love those non-PCP guns. :>)

I'm watching your video and mine has a safety like the one you just now showing. You got push that little button or piece of metal down and hold of your thumb in the order to shoot it. But mine is a silver streak and I don't have no seal number on it and I don't tell me it was the 5 mm or 20 caliber. There's no markings on it at all

I have a Sheraton silver streak. I think it was made in the mid-40s. It has no cell number. It don't say what caliber it is and for the back safety goes has a little symbol that says push and hold to fire and has a little piece of a button. It's not a button, it's just a little metal piece and you push it down with your thumb and hold it down to fire it. Of course I've never been able to shoot it cuz I can't find any 20 caliber pellets any oil preciate you telling me if you know anything about my silver streak and tell me where I get some pellets

Same here. I always wanted on as a kid but they were too expensive so ended up with a Daisy and a Crosman. But once I got grown I was walking in K-mart grabbed up for about $100. The thing is went ahead and grabbed a small can of pellets which I still have not exahusted but they were crosman .22 cal. And it was not for years that I really took notice that it was a .20 cal. Now the Crosman .22 shot well enough but now I am mortified about it. Not sure if it hurt the barrel. My rifle say C9 on the barrel however it does not say Benjamin or Sheridan anywhere on it that I can tell. I got a huge raccoon that is becoming a real nusiance and I am considering poppin him in the butt. I am on the fence about that but I need some .20 cal pellets now and they are not cheap and hard to find.

Hello, I know that this is off-topic for my questions. Back in the mid 90's I bought a Benjamin Sheridan F9 Series C02 Silver Streak which worked just fine until it started leaking out CO2 as soon as a new one was punctured. So I put it away in the attic for many years and have had many different air guns in the mean time. Well, while digging around, I came across it and decided to try and repair it thinking that it cannot be very difficult....probably just a bad o-ring that needs replaced. Breakdown was fairly simple until I got to the valve where the CO2 cartridge sits. I am trying to figure out how to remove it without buying a special tooling kit to remove it. Also there seems to be some kind of shim pin pressed into it from the outside of the tube to hold it in place. Anyway, I cannot seem to find any instructions or videos on how to break down and reseal this particular model. There are plenty of vids on older pump action and different CO2 models though. Any ideas or links on how to do this?

Many thanks for the info, and showing us your beautiful collection. I have one purchased new in 1979, it isn't marked Blue streak, or Silver streak, it is only stamped type C. Can one assume it is a Blue Streak, or is it just a lower model of a Blue streak ?

I recently acquired a silverstreak, I believe pre 1950 wouldn't hold pressure was missing rear sight and fore arm was missing a chunk. I replaced the pump cup and rebuilt the valve repaired the broken forearm or pump handle. I can't figure out why this rifle is brass colored?
