People have downplayed the tank after the ATGM nerf however it's still a such a strong tank. You'll be able to use your camo rating and slap someone for 560 alpha and reposition when played correctly. While that's not as easy as it sounds in game, when you're able to correctly position and reposition adaptively in game, the tank becomes a complete nuisance to the enemy team.

The tank only works now because of heavy tank meta, but if meta goes medium side, which it may, it will struggle. Fast paced games make this tank a pain so hopefully it will still be good in the future.

@@hisroyalfatness they are nerfing some tier 10 heavy tanks, and buffing some tier 10 medium tanks in update 8.2, so maybe it will get a medium meta and then the sheridan wouldn't be as good as it is now like you said

@@hisroyalfatness Yeah I assume that in the next few upcoming updates with less health up for grabs along with many high dpm mediums, the Sheridan might not perform as well with its relatively low dpm. Worst case scenario WG gives Sheridan a slight dpm boost and best case scenario WG gives Sheridan a slight dpm boost. Go figure.

Sheridan has always been an amazing tank for me. Probably my favorite, I love the play style of big gun and lots of speed. In the 100 battles I have in it I’ve managed 74% wr and 3.2k avg

I didn’t mind playing against most players with ATGM. Had no clue how to use them and would bounce all the time, but I admit the missile era stopped hull down meta which was good. Nothing counters it now

Once in gravity mode I continuously bounced 6 shells from the same E100 in my Sheridan Missile. The dude has good aim but RNG just said no. That was the most bs 1v1 I’ve ever seen.

I find T92 works better for me. Aim is way more accurate and smaller profile. I tend to miss lots of shots on the fly with Sheridan. For ammo, it's either gold or he. Otherwise i can't pen on the fly.

Thing about this guy is that it's so fast that your able to put big shots on slow tanks and run the hell away. and even if you get shot, you most likely dealt 560 damage over a 400 alpha heavy so it can trade very nicely (which I like to do despite probably being too risky)

Sheridan is a fun drive. My highest win rate is when I play it like a fast TD. Slap the Reds while brawling with a teammate, relocate, find another teammate to support, rinse and repeat.

for those that could use the missiles properly, the removal was nerf like no other- it cannot be replaced. but for those who could not, and relied upon silver rounds to be effective in battle, almost nothing changes- its still a mobile tank with slapping alpha you dont expect from lights. 560-545hp chipped away fron you every 12 second i think isnt a thing to scoff at. sure, vickers light might be better with hesh pen, or Batshit could uoad a full clip onto you. here's the thing:hesh is unreliable on the vickers unless full back and you still have the alpha damage advantage when you're trading shots with it. and fur batshit, it has lower DPM than the sheridan afaik. i think of the sheridan tree more like a light gun carrier. something like waffletraktors with great mobility.

Calculating auto reloader DPM isn’t as simple as you think. While the garage shows standard B having 100 less base DPM, it also has the auto reloading mechanic. If a standard B were to push me it would get an initial burst of 1050 in 6 seconds, followed by 8.5 seconds for single shot. So, it would take a standard B roughly 30 seconds to full health my Sheridan in this manner. 6 seconds for 1050 and 25 seconds for the 3 following shells that finish my remaining 850 hit points. Standard B has 1750 hit points, which means I must shoot him on average 4 times to get a kill with the Sheridan. With a 14.5 second reload, that means it would take me 58 seconds to kill him. These are things you must consider in terms of DPM fights with auto reloaders because the garage only shows full reload statistic. 🤓

Missiles are slow plus the tank has long reload, assuming the versing tank knows how to count, then he knows how to counter the missile, plus it's easy to catch a missile with gun barrel swinging, at least that's how i counter missile tanks, now they just shoot'n'scoot. much more effective...
