@@sunnyday7457the root of the problem is mental health here and addressing that issue with mental hospitals is the answer, quit blaming the gun or your so called ‘culture’. Seeing lots of idiots speeding on the roads, whether for fun or from the police is a danger and also people who road-rage, using their cars as a weapon, is a threat to our society. He is a well-built and strong adult but no one is scared of him. It is vitally important that someone connect this woman with a support group specific to TBI - please. Members of the group will be able to put her in touch with therapists and other support where she can learn what brain functions his TBI has impaired and how to deal with it. If one of her close neighbors with whom she is friends can go with her to meet with the group or a specially trained resource, perhaps they can detail the woman's situation and stress that because of her age it is important that a specialized residential place be found for her son. @@shadyganley8877 So you're telling me that you must be in law enforcement to say whether or not it's a problem to allow a man who's already killed others to walk up behind his mother and shoot her in the head assassination style WHILE she's talking to the cops?? Is that what tyou're saying? Nope, but was in the military and that shit wouldn't have happened there. He would have been too full of holes to shoot anyone else.

We have the best Sheriff’s in the Suncoast Region! Wells, Nocco, Gualtieri, Chronister and GRADY who paved the way for ypu all to tell the public the hard facts that many in systems roles would never say ! As Sheriff Judd said recently “ he har some screws lose and my deputies had to tighten them up” Thank you! Happy Father’s Day to you all & thoughts with your CiRT/ SERT folks and staff at St. Jes.

Most of those counties would not have allowed the son to walk up and shoot the mom while they were talking to her. There's no way that I would put Chronister in the same category as Judd. I'm sorry for the deputy who was shot, but not stopping the son before he got to mom makes them culpable in her death. That's nothing to brag about.

Curious, did any of the deputies have rifles? It's an impossible situation, but I'm curious if they roll in with rifles instead of side arms on a call where there's a shooter.

Why wasn't the Mom immediately taken into safety? Doesn't quite make sense that enforcement officers would just let her stand there, totally exposed. Her death could have been avoided had they taken her out of harm's way IMMEDIATELY!!

I know he is the sherrif and he has to give a certain impression but claiming that inflicting harm or the use of viol. is never justified sounds absolutley ridiculous ane utterly immature especially comming from a man who may be armed. The truth is viol. saves lives every day and has prevented or ended some of the most horrible things throughout history. Im tired of being spoken to like a 13 year old by our government just because the lowest common denomenator of society needs to be treated like children.
