I gotta say, that photo is definitely close enough for officers to investigate. The handcuffs will be blown off as procedure/safety. All in all, I think everyone did as they should have here with the exception of the cop's mouth and attitude. Yeah, she's gonna tell you that ain't her because it's NOT. When the picture showed up the kids had to point out the obvious differences in the model jacket, color of the shoes, hairstyle, skin tone, camo pattern etc to professionals who should have a keen eye for details.

I'm a teacher, I see kids wearing the same clothes all the time. Some have gotten upset and wanted to change. My daughter is Native American, there's other Native American girls at her school. I bought her a new Justice outfit from Walmart, She wore it to school with a black top and another girl, from the same Tribe, had the SAME outfit on but the shirt was slightly different. My kid thought it was funny and said they were twinning. Literally millions of the same clothes are produced for companies and if Walmart or Target is the closest store, kids wear the same clothes often 🙄

I am sorry you do not get to defend these officers. The suspect had a pink "puffer" coat on and camo pants and what appeared to be a long braid. The 11 year old had on a hoodie sweater jacket not camo pants and hair is 100% not the same. These two cops need their eyesight checked AND they need to be suspended with DEEP training. Who in their RIGHT mind detains someone with an idea of what they think. Its... a... puffer coat the suspect had on....and camo pants.. Pay me I did your job for you people. Also, they need a new Sheriff if his response was for real what he said. No. This goes beyond racial profiling... cops are taught to use the excuse a vehicle fitting this description was seen leaving a scene of a crime. The female cop really shows serious bias in her attitude and comments. In the end, that’s what needs disciplary action. No one was hurt, no one was “traumatized” here. A seven minute investigation had the appropriate outcome and everyone is FINE. Think how different this wouldn’t been just a few decades ago. Yes this cop is a jerk. But everyone needs to acknowledge how quickly this was resolved correctly. Discipline the cop and move on.
