I really understand Sherlock's feelings...he's not even a sociopath , that's what he wants people to believe to keep them away because deep down he is just to scared to be hurt, but when. he met John he realizes how lonely he was and how desperately needed someone by his side, after that he can't help himself to open his heart to others showing them who he really was, even if he gets hurt.

He is a sociopath. Having anti-social personality disorder does not mean you are a monster.

@@lissa4750 Continued... The problem nowadays is people have unreasonable expectations and they want, no they think they want, Misters Perfect and Misses Perfect. Few people love every part of you, flaws and imperfections included, warts and all. I'm not saying people shouldn't seek to better themselves, but our past is what it is, and as human beings we will always have flaws and imperfections no matter how much we better ourselves and that's what makes us human. So can we please accept Sherlock and even one another for who we are and where we're at and work on bettering ourselves and one another without constant judgementalism, bashing, and unreasonable expectations/standards of perfection which by the way is very harmful and just doesn't help anybody? Also, as the saying goes before you judge someone why don't you just walk in their shoes for three months, then maybe you won't be so quick to judge. Some freaking idiots say that Sherlock is a "sociopath" because he has no friends, no friends besides John and Mrs. Hudson, who by the way are the only people who care about him, who showed him kindness. That's bull fucking shit. The reason Sherlock doesn't have friends is not because he's a "sociopath", it's because he's a genius, which can be both a blessing and a curse. Geniuses, people with superior intellect, or even geeks, have little to no friends, either because most people can't follow/can't understand them, or because a lot of people are full of hate, spite and envy, they are jealous of the geniuses' intelligence and successes so they want to ruin and destroy the lives of geniuses by dehumanizing them, shunning them, isolating them, spreading lies about them to destroy their reputation, and even yes falsely calling some of them "psychopath", "sociopath", "freak", etc. Also, I think Sherlock also decided to be very selective in the choice of his friends because he doesn't want to be abused and taken advantage of, he's better off with two good friends like John and Mrs. Hudson than with a thousand fair-weather "friends". When it comes to friends, quality is more important than quantity, and I know that from personal experience, I too have only two friends, their names are Yves and Susan and they're about 10 years older than me, I'm in my mid-thirties and they're in their mid-forties, they're also a couple. And I'd rather have two good friends like Sherlock than a thousand fair-weather "friends". For most of my life I've been bullied, ridiculed, shunned and isolated for being very smart, a geek, an intellectual, studying a lot and getting good marks, and in the most recent years spending hours reading various books at the public library or home and educating myself about a lot of things from music, music composers and cuisine to history, culture, science, and art and I possess a fair bit of knowledge on those things though I've also forgot a lot of what I have learned or taught myself in the last decade and I think I know why, and ever since I started reading the Sherlock Holmes novels (last week) I've decided to follow Sherlock's advice and I've made a decision to only study/learn a selected few of those things instead of cluttering my brain with things that I just don't need to learn and that I'll probably never use. And schools need to get that too, I'm looking at you stupid useless algebra, only a tiny minority of people, and only those who work in advanced science, will need algebra, most people never use it throughout their lives, so what's the point of forcing them to learn it in school, it should be optional, also who needs to learn about past wars, as MLK Jr. said, "I ain't going to study war no more", what they should teach in school is peaceful conflict resolution and nonviolent resistance (like the teachings of MLK Jr., Gandhi and others like them), not war and they need to throw the recruiters out of the government schools because recruiters brainwash kids into enlisting and going abroad to kill brown people with guns, bombs, and drones, brown people that have never wrong them (and the veterans are left to be disabled/crippled, riddled with PTSD and mental illnesses, and homeless as the government laugh at them and deny them their disability benefits to put more money on endless wars based on lies, veterans are treated worse than dogs and wars leave countless children orphaned). And the soldiers who slaughter those brown people have been brainwashed into doing that in the name of corporate America, the rich 1% that own more wealth than the bottom 99%, oil companies, and big business, not to mention Big Pharma, war is a racket and it's all about cutting the social programs that help and save the lives of children, the poor, the sick, the disabled, the homeless, the widows, veterans, etc, to put more millions on military spending and giving tax cut breaks to the millionaires and billionaires, especially the Rethuglican party, there I've said it. Sherlock is not a "sociopath" and neither is Mycroft. And I can't believe there are still idiots who are too blind to see that Mycroft does love his brother and look out for him, he's just not that good at showing his emotions or he simply choose to keep them under control, but he shows in different ways that he does care. As someone said: (Quote) "Mycroft Holmes exhibits few to none of the characteristics attributed with "sociopathy". Yes, Mycroft, (from a sybling rivalry aspect) is merciless to his brother Sherlock, but only to the point of brotherly ribbing in their own way. Their intellectual sparring matches are actually their unique way of showing the love they do have for one another, and in times of peril, each has and will be there for their brother." (Unquote) Yes, it's a long post/rant but I've seen longer articles and I wanted to get my points across concerning that beautiful and talented genius and prove he's not a "sociopath". "High-functioning sociopath" my ass. ----------------------------------------- I'm total Johnlock trash and I've definitely been Johnlocked: archiveofourown.org/collections/Johnlock_fanfictions" (Unquote)

Beautifully made! I loved how you kept Mary's death right after "you killed my best friend." It says so much - he did care for Mary as much as he did for John, plus his own relationship with his best friend does get "killed" after that incident. That look on his face after "Yes, you did." will never not break my heart, oh Sherlock! :(

Very nice video, good job 👍 I have two questions from series 4: What was in John's letter to Sherlock, and how the hell do you die of hypothermia in a sauna??
@misskim20585 жыл бұрын
Well, there are a number of ways one could be found dead in a sauna, the two most obvious factors being the state of the person before entering it, and the state of the sauna itself before, during and/or after it was entered, others being possible variables that might have been present at the time of the incident, and which may or may not still be present or observable when the body was discovered. It would be possible for extreme temperature fluctuations to be involved in the sauna scenario, but doesn’t always take the extreme elements and length of time that people generally consider to be necessary in order to die from hypothermia. One can fall from a boat into a cool lake on a summer’s day, and with perhaps some delay in getting out of the water, combined with a breeze and some distance to shore or otherwise without an immediate way to dry off and warm up, especially on a young person or someone with a slight frame, they could die from hypothermia before they get to shore. It has happened.
