One detail I LOVE about this music, you can hear it's a duet between a violin and a cello. It's just like we're hearing Sherlock and Watson reason a case. Sherlock is the dominant part of the music, but it's Watson bringing his posed counters that bring the symphony together. In a way, it's a metaphor for Sherlock's whole character in the games: He is THE Sherlock Holmes, but it's only with a partner that his music is complete.
@andmos10013 жыл бұрын
The pure genius of Sherlock is not himself, but in his partner John Watson. Sherlock is the asshole detective, and Watson is the human side of the conundrum.

Just beat this game the other day. It was bittersweet. It legitimately felt like saying goodbye to my new friends. An Ace Attorney game hasn’t made me feel like that since Trials and Tribulations. This is by far one of, if not the best games in the series (counting both as one).

I haven’t finished it yet but I’m dreading the end :( I loved this cast of characters, the music was great and the mysteries were fun. I agree and haven’t felt this feeling since the original trilogy. Part of me wants another game in the series but I wonder if it is just best to end it in this note? Still, I’ll miss all of the characters. It’s very rare for a game to get me attached to nearly all of them lol. I hope that the writers create either a new part for this series, another part in the main series or create a whole new environment for a fresh start like TGAA.

@ManiacYKT3 жыл бұрын
Don't blame the localization team, they could do nothing, it's those assholes who hoard licensing rights on a, quote on quote, "public domain character" by making it almost impossible to use if they actively sabotaging that.
@blizzarx15723 жыл бұрын
@@ManiacYKT yeah a lot of issues went into localization for this, like rights to just a literal name which is just ????. Tho, a big problem they also faced was the heavy Japanese culture and balancing the translation to keep the culture in the dialogue but make it readable/accessible enough for English speakers and character animations. COVID-19 prolly played a huge part also which is unfortunate also but hey! WE GOT THE GAME NOW AND NOW IM JUST BINGING IT DEIFJVM GMJENGJAKNADJDN
@jacobawesomeness53783 жыл бұрын
@@ManiacYKT yeah mainly cuz apparently they will attempt to take down projects with Sherlock Holmes if his character is like how it’s portray in the later stories and DGS Holmes is more in line with that characterization and by that I mean expressing emotions, yeah…, however I’m glad that they did went with Herlock Sholmes and John Wilson since those names has been used way back in like 1910 from the Arsene Lupin series cuz the author couldn’t use Sherlock Holmes due to legal reasons from Doyle himself and made those names as way to get around legal troubles

I'm going to add something here to another comment. Basically, someone said Sholmes isn't really Sholmes without Wilson (John, not Iris). However, it's lead me to believe that Wilson used to take the same role as Ryunosuke. Sholmes would present his deductions, and Wilson would've come in and corrected them, finally bringing the truth to light.
