If you want to play a Sherlock Holmes game that ignores the basic principle of Holmes stories as "Supernatural no go", with a nosensical story arc, far too much emphisis on generic AAA sequences (the exact same tailing mission you've done in 15 different games, the generic puzzles that were innovative about 10 years ago, and quick time events) over actually solving cases, and cases which are so obvious at the end that there's really no point calling it a detective game, yes. If not, buy Crime and Punishments. It's the previous one. It's actually a detective game.

I played some of the previous Sherlock Holmes games: Jack the Ripper, The Last Testament, and Crime and Punishment. JtR is my favourite, personally, because I find that crime interesting. I really love those games because it gives a classic 'Sherlock' feel with a nice victorian setting. I would definitely recommend them! This game looks different, Sherlock looks a bit more Hollywood-y in this one, as opposed to previous titles where he looks like classic sherlock.
