I knew the original video was good, but it's wonderful to compare the micro details. The highest compliment being that the girls were acknowledged by the shows creators and allowed to use the original set pieces.

Seeing the frames side by side shows just how much effort and time hollywood put into creating such an accurate representation of the show and characters while also including elements of the thrift shop music video. Hillywood is genius!

This is excellent, thanks for doing this! I like the Macklemore song and I love Sherlock the BBC show, so I knew the Hillywood parody was clever in terms of the BBC show but I hadn’t watched the Macklemore music VIDEO itself and the parts of the parody that echo that (like “Sherlock” nodding with “Watson” and “Mrs Hudson” which is visually like Macklemore but emotionally like Sherlock).
