Props to The Odd Couple for going against most of the other media members who are picking the Chiefs. Rob Parker has always supported my Clippers and 49ers. He seems to hate the Lakers and the Chiefs just as much as he hates Brady. Rob has repeatedly said Joe Montana is the GOAT and not Tom Brady. He had Joe on his show a couple of years ago and told him that to his face. And Rob seems to be against Mahomes, so of course, he’ll bang bang with Niner gang. And great segment by Brou yesterday on First Things First. Let’s go, 49ers! I don’t know if we will win today but let’s give it everything we have. I’m going AGAINST my 49ers. I can’t go with my heart this time. Most experts have the score similar or within 5 points or less. I see the game decided by a FG like last year. Chiefs will lead early. The Niners catches up with 2 minutes left. Then Chiefs will get into FG range to win it. Now I had Chiefs winning all their playoff matchups this season. Dolphins? Piece of cake. They’re like the OKC Thunder who can’t handle beating the Lakers twice now. Bills? Josh Allen still hasn’t beaten Mahomes in the playoffs. Ravens? I knew Lamar would gag like he did 4 years ago with the best record in the NFL. Lamar is a playoff choker like James Harden. Sorry. He just is. He’ll win the MVP but he’ll disappoint when the games matters more. What have my Niners shown in these playoffs? Barely beat the youngest team and the Cinderella team at their own house! And we were favorites by 7.5 pts or more. We have been the better team in the regular season. Yeah, those first 17 games. Now we look fortunate just making the Super Bowl. While Chiefs were the road team underdogs in Buffalo and Baltimore and still came out on top. Over the years, my Niners have constantly disappointed me as a roster and as an organization…. *2020* - Lost to the Chiefs, 31-20. We were up 10 with 7 minutes to go. Couldn’t cover Tyreek Hill on the 3rd and 15 and lost complete momentum. We didn’t score a single point in the 4th. - Didn’t get Tom Brady after we lost to the Chiefs only to watch him defeat KC the following season. Brady retired 2-0 against Mahomes in the playoffs while also defeating Brees and Rodgers in that playoff run. - Drafted Javon Kinlaw with the 14th overall pick when I wanted CeeDee Lamb who ended up 17th and has turned out to be a 2x Pro Bowler while my Niners currently have questionable defense in these playoffs. *2021* - Drafted Trey Lance at 3rd after giving up all those picks and he turned out to be a bust and is now CeeDee Lamb’s teammate. I can’t hate the Niners FO for this because I did like the pick when it happened. *2022* - Lost to the Rams in the NFC championship game when we were up 17-7 heading into the 4th. Then another Shananan team failed to score a single point in the 4th while Rams scored 13 in that quarter. Jimmy G threw another interception again late in the game. 🤦🏻 - Rejected Tom Brady again after he retired and then unretired less than the 40 days of Lent. Then we saw Tom Brady, a Niners fan, lose his final game to a team he was born to hate growing up: the Dallas Cowboys. Now I’m hearing Kyle wanted Tom Brady last year. Too late now, idiot. Wasted all that time believing in Jimmy Gag. Aren’t you sick of being a LOSER, Kyle Shanahan? How you can never live up being as successful as your dad? Do you really want to be the Doc Rivers of NFL coaches? Andy Reid runs circles around this kid. But for a time, Andy couldn’t win shit either. Now Kyle is in his position. And don’t forget some questionable calls Kyle had. Remember in 2020, he failed to call a timeout? John Lynch can be seen yelling to call timeout but Kyle let the time go down before halftime. Then in 2022 against the Rams, we were 4th and 2 and Kyle decided to punt it instead of going for it. He was being called too conservative. When our own coach is being questioned, we really don’t have much of a shot today. Kyle Shanahan is just a good REGULAR SEASON coach and my 49ers are a good REGULAR SEASON team that constantly fails when something big is on the line. If we don’t come out firing early today, we’re not winning the game. Not against KC’s D. We need to start and finish well in this game. Kyle needs to squeeze every one of his brain cells to outcoach Andy. It’s actually reversed this year. Four years ago, Niners were strong in D but questionable with our O because Jimmy G was not a good QB and Kyle tried to hide his limitations with our run. Chiefs were explosive with O seeing them constantly score over 40 in 2019 but still had questionable D. Now their D is suffocating teams while our D is matador. Our D let us down 4 years ago when we failed to cover Hill on that 3rd and 15 and our D will probably let us down again today. I will admit, we are a better roster than the 2019 team. We have more weapons in Run CMC, Deebo, Kittle, and Aiyuk that we didn’t have from 2019. We didn’t have Run CMC and Aiyuk in 2019. And Purdy is definitely better than Jimmy G. But our 2019 team had better performances during their playoff run prior to SB54. The wins over the Packers and Lions at home still leaves more questions than answers. I have both teams covered in my parlays, so I won’t be that disappointed if Chiefs do beat us today. I’m already expecting KC to go up 14-0 over us early. Another slow start by us. As long as my NBA teams hit, it doesn’t matter who wins the SB. But of course, I want my Niners to win this. I want George Kittle to outplay Taylor Kelce/Travis Swift. I believe CMC will outplay Pacheco. And Chiefs have no Tyreek this time. But there’s still that doubt we’ll win or can score a point in the 4th. Perhaps when Steph Curry hit that game winner against the Suns last night, that’s an omen that another San Fran team wins today in dramatic fashion? Perhaps. But Steph made a clutch shot during the REGULAR SEASON. He’s always had question marks in the Finals. Warriors and 49ers represents San Francisco but they seem to lack the mental toughness when the pressure is too much. How the game plays out is Chiefs go up 14-0 early. We can tie them at 14-14 or 21-21. Give Mahomes only 8 seconds and he’ll get his team back in FG range. Then they’ll win. Or… my Niners are up 21-14 heading into the 4th. Then Chiefs score 10 straight unanswered points to win the game. Another Kyle Shanahan team doing their best Doc Rivers impersonation of blowing leads after leads in big games. Either way, we lose and Taylor Kelce lives happily ever after. But I hope I’m wrong and we send Travis Swiftie fans crying while playing “Karma” in our championship parade as the ultimate troll. I hope you’re correct, Chris Broussard and Rob Parker. It already feels like a longshot but ANYTHING can happen in a Super Bowl. Brou is going to look like a legend on First Things First tomorrow if my Niners do win.

Sherm... The weapons... CMC. Deebo. Aiyuk. Yet again, "Third and Jauan" isn't mentioned. Most underrated player in the game. People don't remember him when talking about the weapons. I hope the Chiefs were likewise forgetting him when thinking about how to defend the 49ers weapons. Prediction: 31-28 49ers. It will be KC up 28-24 with less than a minute to go. Purdy will get chased out of the pocket and roll right. The throw will look like it's being thrown away out the back of the right side of the end zone. And Jauan Jennings is going to leap like Dwight Clark and come down with "The Catch 4".
