The Hoyer® Advance® is compact, yet able to perform an outstanding range of transfers. Whether from the floor or onto a healthcare bed, the Advance copes with ease. The Advance’s unique tapered leg design allows the lift to get even closer to the widest of obstacles. This is especially useful when encountering large chairs, bulky commodes, and wheelchairs. The tapered design also ensures that the resident feels safe and secure during the transfer. The lift can reach up to 66.5" high, but can also lower to 13.7", simplifying the transfer from the floor to the bed. In addition, it only weights 69 lbs., and has a weight capacity of 340 lb.

You can probably swap out the battery, its easy to do. 5 years is a long life for a battery of that type

I have a question....i have this same hoyer lyft for my special needs residents that are all female. And with that they all have long hair that over time has gotten stuck in the wheels of the hoyer making it tough at times to maneuver. How do i remove the wheels to remove trapped hair?
