As a 47 year old female who like you continues to discover and accept herself with time... I can tell ya I've "peaked" probably another 3 times since my 27th bday. Actually my 26th bday was when I went camping solo for a week 1300km away from home. And that trip was a turning point in my life...for the better. As an adult, I’ve gone off shore fishing, and I’m trying new rigs, weights, techniques, some of which work, and sadly, like today, some that don’t work. It's been my experience that fish eat in the morning as the sun is raising and setting and the rest of the time they play with whomever comes along to fish. In steams, they are found in white water and with lakes, turn a rock over by the water to see what they've been eating. Or use some heavier weights and put garlic on the hook. Fish like smelly stinky stuff, like old clams or sharp cheddar. And get a real fishing pole. Fly fishing is something only a pro should teach you. It's like the high end of fishing and you can't just grab a pole and be a pro from the beginning. Try crickets on your hook, especially in high mountain lakes where the trout get big and picky about what you offer them. Happy 27th, and yeah your still a kid, still have some daring in you, still a little bold and somewhat bullet proof. Once you hit 30 you start to mellow. Enjoy your new age while you have it, and remember, it's only good for a year. Keep the video's coming and remember we're here for you, if you get lost send up a flair, and one of us will tell you what direction your headed.
