I agree about the whispering. I would do the same thing but you know a lot of people mainly the young generation won't.
@ZippedUpKitz2 жыл бұрын
@@nickpaulik9297 I know… they never learned any respect for anything… it saddens me so much… I raised my daughter to respect her elders and others as well as herself… I think that is so important! If you can't respect yourself, how can you have any respect for another person? I remember when she was starting the third grade and I and her father had taken her up to the school to meet her new teacher. This was before I started home schooling her. The lady who was to be her teacher asker her a question and Jai answered , "yeah." I was like, "excuse me? Is that how you answer an adult?" She corrected herself and said, "yes Ma'am." Well, her teacher says, "oh that's ok. I don't mind." I told her, "well, I do mind and I would appreciate it if you would not tell my child that it is "ok" that she doesn’t answer you respectfully. That isn’t how her father and I taught her to speak." The look of shock on her face is something I will never forget. I actually had another parent thank me for standing up to the teacher. What really got me is this teacher was at least 10 years older than I am and not in her 20's or 30's like so many of the other teachers were in that school. I had Jai when I was 36 years old, good 15 -18 years later than all of my friends I went to high school with. I was one of the "older" parents there at her school. I graduated in 1990, so that gives you a pretty good idea of how old I am. It drives me nuts to see these kids today that have no respect for anything and I just keep asking where did we go wrong?

That was great thank you! I wonder if it started to become a ruin during or after the dissolution. I imagine the stain glass must have been something to see especially that round in the front. I wonder why it was such a massive structure wiki says in 12th century there was 36 monks and 100 lay brothers and it wasn’t like they were the only abbey in the area and there was a huge local population. Thanks again.

Not only for others but that is ancient ground you are walking on and just like in a grand cathedral you want to be respectful of those who walked those grounds in the past. History tells such an awesome story of our past, where we all have come from. We need to be respectful. Sherpa is as always the perfect traveling companion. It just gives me such pleasure watching the two of you and especially on your adventures. I’m seeing things through your eyes I will never see on my own. Stay safe❤️❤️💙💙. Happy wanderings.
