I love all the memories ❤ can't believe how dark his fur was as a baby 😊 such a beautiful pup and already showing in his eye's the legend he would become. It makes me remember when he told you his fur was auburn not red and that brings back our first Lord Sherpa video we watched his getting groomed and yelling at you to save him (Dad they touched my bum) 😂🤣 he captured our hearts with that one video . Jamie, ask Jodie for some silver wire so you can make that ring in to a pendant instead of putting it straight on the necklace. That'll turn it 90° so it won't stick out like that.

@@cherylrichards8951 It would be a lot easier to take a silver wire loop it around 2-3 times in a loop about the size of the ring and then twist it until it holds the ring and there's a hole big enough for the chain.

I have to admit I think the ring on the necklace is very nice but I can understand you if it's not that comfortable for you. It’s been 17 years since my Sadie crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I still have times I cry, but I can look at her pictures now and smile. I have some of her fur that I keep beside my chair so I can hold it and even stroke it across my face. Losing a pet is a heartache we never get over. Our life is changed forever, but we have such sweet memories. I know all of our pets welcomed Sherpa when he entered Heaven. They’re running and playing, just waiting for us to join them. My Cheddar has been gone almost 30 and I still miss him. Took me almost 20 years to get another dog who is crazy. Cheddar just had to be near me. Bo has to have constant attention. He is wearing me out but I love him anyway. My heart breaks for Jamie. I wish him I could say something to ease his pain but there isn't any words that will make it better.

Agree about the ring. It wouldn't look great on the chain. Have you thought about asking Key's hoomum, aka Weirdo for advice...oh OK, problem solved by yourself? @4.23, Birdys: "Well we know how much Sherpa loved his food so we're doing this in his honour". He was, is and always will be beautiful Jamie. One of the reasons we all love(d) him. His heart and soul were always on display. Whether announcing his arrival, ordering his snacks from coffee carts/ Costa or Starbucks for a pup cup. And definitely when he wanted to play with the tiny hoomans. Straining against his leash in the 1st level down, in one of the cathedrals you visited, and he spied a baby in a pram, and I felt so bad for him- "But Pops I just want him to know that we all love him, and give him my blessings. Why is everyone looking at me strangely?" The other time was in a car park, and as you were letting him out a toddler walked by. He did such a funny little bum wiggle. It's awful seeing you sad, even though it is completely OK, and please don't close your feelings off, no matter what. You want to scream at the sky, or cry...we are not going anywhere. Although by the looks of it you may need some extra shelves! 🥰😍😍😘😘😘😘😘😘😘💙💛💙💙💙🫂🫂🫂✋️👊🐾🦇✋️🙏👍👋😇🐺😇

Aww such a sweet photo of Sherpy. Reminds me of the times he would rest his chin between the car seats beside you in the van. I don't recall there being room for that in the mini. Sometimes he would rest his chin on the edge or foot of your bed. He stole another little piece of my heart every time he did that. For some reason, seeing you saying goodnight to Sherpy's photo then walking down the hall to your bedroom alone got the tears flowing again. But, his spirit is still strong there Jamie. Jamie, what you need, to wear the 1 ring as a necklace, is another smaller "ring", like on a "key chain", where you slip on your keys! Then, the ring will lay flat. Problem solved!!! CHEERS!!!🐺🌈✌️💙🙏✝️💯😇

What a good day! You might find the ring on the chain to sit better if you get a longer one. Play around with string/yarn or cord (not too thick mind you) to find the length that suits right, then get a chain that length. Check online for available lengths, typically 18" , 20" , 22" and onwards. Loving your Sherpa Shelf🧡💛🧡

Jamie -- Yes, as I'm sure many folks have already said, you need to add some kind of "intermediate" piece (or two) between the necklace and the ring. And then it can "lay flat," which I expect is what you would like it to do. But this must be PERFECT and STRONG, as you surely don't want to lose that ring. I would suggest that there must be plenty of jeweler shops that could do that, along with all of the folks who do jewelry independently. Good luck!

The ring guards do make them tighter. I had to have my wedding ring smaller had the jewelry store do it. And now it fits fine. Your yard looks lovely. One idea for your second Sherpy ring, put it on a thinner chain and hang it on your rear view mirror. Loop the chain around until it’s the length you want. Then he will travel with you forever.

You can always box somethings away, leave certain pieces out all the time then rotate some other pieces with the ones you boxed up. That way your able to see all of them from time to time.

If you go to a jewelry store or search online, you can get an O ring that is safe and sturdy. The O ring goes around the ring and slips onto the necklace so the ring lays flat.
