Thank you! I am teaching my self to embroidery. The tip you gave about how to knot your thread and the one about starting the knot on top of the fabric then anchoring the thread so the knot can be cut off later is brilliant. For dweebs like me your tips are very helpful. Love your pups. They are so cute.

I've enjoyed seeing your embroidery, I cross stitch but would love to have a go at embroidery. I use one strand of floss doubled over. and thread the floss through the loop at the back of the work, no knot and its secure. Works with DMC but obviously not overdyed thread.

Loved seeing your Vlog, today Sherry. We do the movie quotes in our house too! The one we always say if someone says "thank you" is from You've Got Mail (Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan) where Frank is on the TV show flirting with the host and says Thank Yrrrr, Sydney, and she says Thank Yrrrrr, ladies and gentlemen! I love watching you stitch while I am knitting. Don't stop saying "pop" here and "I'll just pop that on". So cute, and I find myself saying it lately :o) We don't seem to say it here in America.

Dear Sherry.... Another fantastic vlog.... I do so love watching you go about your day.... you make me chuckle when you say ummm as I am another person who loves ummm... and I do not even realise I am saying it half the time..... like sticking my tongue out to the side when I am concentrating..... Ahhhh Autumn .....my most favourite season....I am counting down to Autumn....36 days to Metrological Autumn and 57 days to Astrological Autumn.... Autumn is such a wondeful seaon...my heart and soul yearn for it and I feel so restored in Autumn...I love filling my pcokets with Autumn's bounty....conkers.....acorns.......sweet chestnuts.....beautifully coloured leaves.....I love to hunt for fungi...my most favourite thing to do...I am obsessed with them especially Fly Agaric....I love cold frosty mornings......dark cosy evenings.....hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows....comforting warm food....warm woolly handknitted socks.....mitttens.... Oh I could go on.... and on..... Autumn also means a new school year and even though I have no children it means back to school stationery... .Yippee!! " Don't you just love New York in the Fall?... if I could I would send you a bouquet of freshly sharpened pencils" xx

I absolutely love your vlogs. Your whole esthetic is so like mine. I’d love to get back into embroidery but somehow I just don’t get around to it. I so appreciate you doing the vlogs this month. I know it’s a lot of work for you but I love it and get excited when I get a notice you just posted a vlog or podcast. So thank you so very much from Texas. I do hope to catch one of the winter boxes. It’s tricky with the time difference. But I’ll give it a go.
