I've used Super Deck sealer, it looks good for a couple years then a downward spiral from there. Best to use an oil base light stain followed by an oil base spar urethane.

Most stains are a couple of years at best. Anything upright with weather will be a maintenance nightmare. Especially in Oregon where it rains 8 month out of the year 🤪

Hi! What is the solid color that you used in the sample and do you have any suggestions for solid stain deck colors that you prefer?

I’m not sure what the color was in video. Picking a color will depend on your house colors. I generally try and pick a grey stone color or a brown woody natural tone that goes with whatever is on your home

I have the solid stain on my deck. Never again. Attracts mold and algae quickly. Hold dirt. Especially after a rain.

It’s not for everyone. We mainly use it to cover wood that’s beyond reviving for transparent stain
