Neutral Paint Colors - Sherwin-Williams

Beige is my favorite color here for interior. I like very neutral and classic. I am going with Accessible Beige for my bathroom. I have Dove White in our master bedroom and love it.

I always use SW and love the paint, but I used the SW app and selected Sea Salt for my bathrooms and bedrooms. It looks too green in some rooms, and I spent so much money having it painted + buying the paint ourselves. Now I learned the hard way...we have to remember the lighting.

I have a sea salt bath and a bedroom and den to paint. I don't want too green. I am having a hard time deciding what to put in the adjoining rooms. I love sea salt for the bath but it Is too green for the bedroom.

Tower tan as a backdrop wall colour for living room or bedroom. I think China doll or stone lion would make a good complimentary colour for any highlight walls.

the online color engine doesn't show the colors correctly, neither does the sample, the closest you can get to what the actual color will look like is the tiny sample on the color index, that is the true color that will show up on your walls. I think sherwin williams should provide those color indexes in a larger format so you can actually see what the color is, and in individual pieces not attached to all the other colors. We just did backdrop with functional gray and requisite gray on the ceiling and it looks really nice, colors that are on the same strip on the color index play very very nicely together, i'm saying this from experience, after trying many different color combinations.

You need to paint up LARGE test samples of the color being considered. The sample quart is a wise investment. Glad yours worked out, but it doesn't always happen that way if trying to choose from a tiny chip. Also, no matter how large the paper sample, it looks slightly different on the texture of a wall.

Take a look at using either navy blue or white as an accent color. Yes, white is a color and a lot of toasters, mixers, etc now come in a glossy white. Navy blue would ground the other light colors in the kitchen and would look really good as well.

My bedroom is Stone Lion. It's a nice color but in no way is it gray. It's a definite tan with no gray undertones at all.

It really is a personal preference and will depend on the room you are painting. Both are very similar but the satin is a slight step up in sheen/shine.
