@@GregProffittAngling Fished soft pellet and micro's in my right hand margin mate. should have fished dead maggot over groundbait, that's what Lee caught on, along with a few others.

Cracking video mate. Just found your channel and subbed. Are they the original carbonactive mini rods you're using? You've done well to keep them that clean. What length are you using here for feeder and wag? Cheers.

Thank you, buddy. Yes, they are the original carbonactives, great rods, in my opinion. I use the 11ft waggler rod and either the 9ft or 10ft feeder rod, depending on the distance. Cheers Greg

Tha needs stronger elastic than that on paste i use preston 17 or 19 slip

Why you playing carp like that? Has no one thought you to put the pole under the water and the fish will come towards you rather than having 8M of pole in the air and 12M of elastic running into next peg

Hi Hutchy, I used the wrong elastic for fishing paste, as I thought the fish would be smaller. I had to lift the pole that high to stop them running to the bottom of the lake 😂 you'll be pleased to know I used thicker elastic when I returned. Thank you for getting in touch. @@GregProffittAngling you can still put your top kit under the water and strip the elastic out from the puller kit and the fish comes towards the tension. Try it next time
