Kris shows himself to be such a gentleman -- he let Sheryl take the lead and he backed her, despite it being his song. Great rendition!! One of my favourite songs, too. Thanks for posting.

Kristofferson. The genius who wrote one of the best songs ever. "Help me make it through the night". That song is perfect in every way. After he wrote that song, Kristofferson can do no wrong. To say he wrote "classics", is an understatement.

It's not a remake. Kris Kristofferson and Fred Foster wrote this song. Janis Joplin sang it and put it on the charts.

The first part of the song was in G, the other two chords are D and C, and G7 for an instant before C. For the 2nd. part of the song they went up one whole chord to A, with E7 and D, A7 before D. That's why there are some comments saying they are out of tune... they were just playing with it. I never heard of this song before, until yesterday... it is not well known here in Mexico. A great performance! It's hard not to like Sheryl.

Clowns. When did you start listening to music? Kris Kristofferson wrote this song back in the day, and he can obviously sing and play it at any tempo he pleases. So sorry if your first exposure to the song was Pink. Learn a little history so as to perhaps avoid embarrassing yourselves.

I'm sure Kristofferson would love for her to record it without him. This was just a live performance with the man that wrote the song. The man has every right to be on the stage. If it weren't for him, there would be no Bobby McGee.

Sheryl Crow should have been the sole performer of this song. Kris Kristofferson knew the beat and tempo of the song but, for some unknown reason could not keep up with Cheryl. My only humble opinion is, as time passes, the vocal range, and mind co-ordination is not the same as in younger days. The moral of my story is, for the younger generation to respect your elders, before letting loose and strutting your selfish self.
