This song was the first single of her fourth album ''C'mon, C'mon'' and was one of her biggest hits. She wanted to released this song has her first single of the album, because she wanted to amusing the public with the vibe of this song after the New York tragedy during summer 2002. This song was everywhere when i was young and i hear so much this song in radios when the song came out. Love this song since i was young. This song reaching the top 20 in Billboard Hot 100 during the summer 2002.

I agree. She had a really long string of pop songs. I was alittle surprised but I loved her stuff and listening to her iTunes podcast now lmao!

I saw the video of my favorite mistake. It made me sad so I wrote her a letter, most of these lyrics were in that letter. I was broke as crap at the time. My mom always said that it is not having what you want. Anyway I had a crush on her, it blew my mind when I heard it on the radio.

Sheryl is one of my favorite musical artists but this song always seemed like an apology to me.. an apology for her dark and brilliant album Globe Sessions (which was filled with heart ache)... so I can't give tens to this one 🤣

You can also watch the remix on video . Not the best quality the video but it's catchy. Victor Calderone remixed it .kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJLOanWNYt2smtU He's one of the Madonna's remixers for Frozen, Beautiful stranger, American Pie, Music, etc

This was a pop smash hit. For me, it was alittle surprising since she had been out in the music business so long. I was so surprised, and she definately could go up agaisnt Madonna and sing with MJ. You her or see more of her celebrity chats. But she had a long pop music run until 05/06. For me, 08 felt like an odd departure. I could never get into her stuff after that.

That’s a line from keeping the faith Billy Joel. I sort of stole it for my letter.

Formulaic hit…. I’m glad it was successful for her but it felt forced for me. Not as organic as “All I Wanna Do” … not as free-wheeling as “Everyday is a Winding Road”… and not as catchy or melodic as “A Change Would Do You Good”
