Could you imagion how the Americans would react if they had the likes of Carol McGriffin or Janet Street Porter on this show 😆😆😆 It's actually hilarious how CBS have reacted to all of this, putting the show on hiatus and firing Sharon all because of a heated argument? What's the point in having this show in America, if you can't have a debate and argue your point. In the UK we have Loose Women, basically the same concept of The Talk or so I thought. Known Female TV personalities sitting around discussing current news and entertainment topics, having debates and interviewing a celebrity. What happened on The Talk between Sharon and Sheryl almost happens everyday on Loose Women. They have real heated arguments, disagreements, rised voices and occasionally throw shade at each other. But it all boils over, they move on, agree to disagree and leave it there on the panel without taking it away with them, remaining friends. If one panelist doesn't agree with the rest of the panel, they are not going to get fired and made to be a villain, the way Sharon has for standing up for her friend. This whole The Talk situation is just ridiculous and completely OTT.

For weeks, I have visited the comments of similar videos and articles to find that mostly Caucasians feel a sense of empathy for Sharon and disdain towards Sheryl. Considering the tone that Sharon took with Sheryl, I proud that Sheryl decided to take the high road. There's nothing wrong with supporting your friends without placing yourself directly in the middle of the turmoil. It's not the plight of African Americans to teach you what racism looks and feel like. You can't tell people what their experiences have been and how they were made to feel. What Megan spoke of in her Oprah interview was her experience which honestly sounded a lot like Princess Diana's experience. The only difference was that there was a little racism thrown about. The only things that set her apart was her age, nationality, and she was the last remaining original co-host. Sheryl proved she can “play fetch” to the producers. Trust me, if Sharon wants to work, she will work. However, she really never has to work another day if she chooses not to. It's okay for her to support her friend, but when she made her support public she should have been prepared to defend it.
