Hello everyone I thought I would come on to show how to make this accordion fold butterfly using the We R Memory Keepers Alphabet Punch board. I used the big board in this video. You can make the butterfly into a refrigerator magnet if you like. Thanks for watching.

Great idea! I found it was easier for me to score straight if I rounded the top wing corners AFTER scoring lightly. Once the corners were snipped, I scored again using the same marks so it did not slide around. I was able to keep the flat top end against the guide that way. Old hands are not as nimble! Tyfs ❤😊

Thanks so much! I am so glad you enjoyed. I just love my alphabet punch board and I love that I can customize my butterflies in any color and any size. The butterflies in the store seem to come in the same colors every year. I was so tired of looking at that so I decided to draw out my own patterns then I figured out how to punch them out on the board with is so much faster than tracing and drawing out the patterns. I may scan the patterns in my scan in cut2 next once I buy a new mat. My current mat does not stick very well. So I have not used it much. Well I hope you are having a fabulous day!

I did not try this on the mini board but I can give it a go and let you know. Usually what works on the big board will usually work on the mini board. I may need to scale down the size and make mini butterflies.

Can the butterfly be made using the mini board?

I am sure you could use for the punches only but not the cutting part. the door is too small to slide the paper in for that size. Hope that helps. I will see what I can do about tutorial soon.
