Heck yeah, Kimmy! Hahah! I wanted to high-five you as you put some people in their place (immature of me, I know lol). Your weight is your business, your family is your business, your business is your business and KZbin and social media have created this weird idea in people that they should know all about a content creators' personal life. I highly respect that you are respectful of your children and your family because at the end of the day, they are what really matter. I have watched you since your kids were little and I absolutely respect and admire the love you have for your family. That has been a game changer for my mental health, ADHD, OCD, and PTSD. We are now one income and that is because of your money saving knowledge. I’m so thankful for the Lord putting your first video in my path some many years ago. Hi Kimmy! I've been a subscriber for many many years! I've fallen off watching a lot of content creators because after sometime, most become not relatable....but yours has always been relatable, real, encouraging and inspiring and I thank you for that. When I found your channel I had recently became a sahm bc I had to quit my job after falling into a deep depression and had crippling anxiety. All of a sudden, I turned 44 and my weight started coming off and I have done nothing but eat more protein and less carbs and stop by a certain time of day. I hear people whispering and talking and I get asked what I am doing. I really think it's hormones and mental health, like you said too. We have no control sometimes. Thank you so much for this video and all that you share here! I have to admit I’ve wondered how you lost weight… not out of judgement, but rather out of my struggle. I’ve struggled with insulin resistance and my weight for a bit now and hormone issues have made it feel nearly impossible to lose weight for me. It’s like a viscous cycle too where they say to help your insulin resistance lose weight, but to lose weight help your insulin resistance. Personal things like this can be really hard to talk about so I totally understand you not bringing it into your channel. Even without talking about it I think you give people like me hope that if you can do it, then we can too. You have been such an inspiration to me through the years and I really love your videos. I love how authentic you are and that you are showing the behind the scenes of how much goes into your videos too. There are a few OGs that I watched before KZbin is what it is today. We've all grown up together and I think that is why I miss it so much. My kids are older, too. My life isn't as exciting as it once was because my life is mostly running around. I think there is a comfort in watching my old "friends" on YT because it is my life, too. You, Organized Little Lady, How Jen Does It, Marriage and Motherhood, and Happily A Housewife were my happy place. Ironically, I've never been a stay at home mom, but just had the same goals and lifestyles. It's so sad to me that the platform has changed so much that most of these channels are non existent. You being Kimmy is all that needs to be! That's the happy place! I hope social media starts to make a turn and goes back to more realistic life so we all don't feel exhausted keeping up.

I just want to thank you for being real and raw. It's hard to share those parts of ourselves. And quite honestly it's really nobody business. If you choose to diet that's your decision, if you choose surgery, that's your decision. So you just keep being you. Health issues are something that most people just don't understand. And in some ways I am grateful they don't, because that means they probably haven't experienced them. I wouldn't wish my issues on anyone else. But there is a need for respect even when there isn't understanding. So thank you for sharing and keep on doing your best!!

I think what is absolutely beautiful re: how you addressed questions re: your weight loss is how you spoke to how personal/raw that process has been and you didn’t shy away from the WORK that got you to these results. Whether it was walking, Pilates, a specific diet, therapy, and/or all of those things you mentioned (or 100% something else altogether) - you addressed your emotional, physical, and mental health during that process. Consistently putting in that work to help you feel your best makes you a champion. My hope is that others will see your results (you mentioned reduced anxiety, less inflammation, etc.) and be inspired to do their own work.

Love how refreshingly transparent you are. Have been watching for years - always enjoy your work. I’m so beyond over the ultra glossy shiny KZbin performance personalities. Hugs from a fellow ADHD mama 🩷🩷🩷🩷

I love all of your videos about grocery lists, menus, freezer meals when to buy certain things. Pldase dont let bad comments bother you! Some people can be rude.

I feel you about not wanting to put content out just for the sake of it and adding things that just arent realistic. Honestly its why i put off posting. You have been an inspiration though!

This is why I’ve continued to follow you from the beginning. I admire you. I haven’t learned SO much from you. And now I am a mom of a 1 year old boy and I use so many of your tips and ways of life.

I have watched you for a few years, but this video.... I gained so much new respect for you. When you talked about your child who has needed therapy. YES & AMEN!! Us moms, we face challenges head on. When it comes to our kids, we fight, we fight hard! Good job mama!!!

I have a problem with anxiety also. I sometimes start to shake. My previous marriage was abusive in all ways. I never put it together, that I may have some PTSD from that marriage. There are some reactions to things that have carried over from that marriage. I did find my love & have a beautiful daughter ~~ so blessed. No one needs to know someone elses personal business. I pray everyday for the Lord to help me get through & I'll keep doing it. I appreciate all of the information you have given me about food storage, looking better at prices, etc. You have helped me & my family oodles. Thank you.❤

I just now got the chance to watch this video, and let me just say as a long time viewer...YOU are enough Kimmy! You are always kind and thoughtful in what you say and present on your channel. I loved SIHA 7 years ago and I love it still today. ❤🎉

I go through the same thing. I go up and down with my weight. Be yourself Kim, people that like you and respect you will always support you.

I love you kimmy! Have watched for years. I have so much respect for you and admire how you leave personal family life out of your videos. Most family vloggers once they hit your numbers completely change and only care about how to get more views and sponsors to get more money. You are amazing!

Wow Kimmy this has seriously opened my eyes and a lot of things make sense. I am so sorry that your family has suffered and the toll it has taken on you all. I will say the Lord gives us what can handle because he has equipped us. I have a journey that changed my life and the person I married suffered a TBI and changed my family forever. In that I wanted to tell you, you and your family helped me through my journey especially in the beginning of this journey, your holiday planning, grocery, cooking, and growing my food emergency videos literally saved me when I thought my life was over and my husband was fighting to live. Thank you, and I hope you guys heal and know you are doing amazing and you owe us nothing at all. God Bless you! ❤

I found your page about two yrs ago when I stepped aside from a job I absolutely loved to preserve my mental health. I was just looking for something to be on while I was busy in my kitchen washing dishes and getting lunch ready and you caught my attention. Kimmy, you gave me the confidence to try making homemade cinnamon pumpkin rolls with the icing and all. I love to cook and bake, I just had never tried my hands at homemade cinnamon rolls...they came out fantastic, thank you!! You're such a beautiful soul, I appreciate your tips and tricks from saving money to meal ideas to just being you, thank you ❤️.

Hurray for you Kimmy! I’ve watched you for several years and I watch others too and it amazes me at the brazenness attitudes of some listeners!!! Most of us have respect for your privacy and will continue to enjoy your videos….however and whatever you decide to do! Sending a hug!

I just wanted to say that as a consumer, I can't understand what type of toll it might take to be a "content creater" in addition to all the life things that happen and knowing it is a sacrifice of a kind I am so grateful to you! A lot of your content has allowed me to take control of my finances and take care of my family through thick and thin. You're like the second mom or older sister I didn't know I needed! No justification needed for how you show up, we're just grateful for all you do! I'm SO glad that you are healthy and happy. That is the most important part!

I had to look up PCOS. And I am a nurse but I don't work in that field. So I learned something new today which is always a win. What I figure is what you do in your life is yours. You show us what you want to and let the comments, suggestions and downright criticism go. I hope you are having a great day. Bev

I loved this video. No one should be telling anyone how to behave, whether to lose or gain wait, etc. It’s so good you’re being kind to yourself and doing what you can manage to do.
