I no longer eat clam chowder (I’m dairy free) but when I made it years ago I used bacon…diced throw in pot and cook the onions and celery in the rendering. Then basically as you did but adding clams, juice and water for the potatoes to cook in…Once all that was cooked I added the cream and milk. Only one pot needed

Yes, the Walmart chips are so good. Much better than lays. The sweet & sour sauce is good if you add a big can of pineapple and a little soy sauce. Congrats on the new house.

Congratulations on your new home!!! I have a Samsung flat-top electric stove that is only five years old - both of the large burners have suddenly started cooking only on high heat - aarrrgghh!! Apparently, it's a 'computer chip' issue, and we all know what that's like these days. Ugh. Yaayyy for gas stoves!!!!!

We use rolling laundry baskets. When we moved, each person had a couple days worth of clothes, towels, bedding, toiletries and even a couple drinks and snacks in their basket. When we got to our new home they had all the essentials.

I have never cooked lasagna noodles first. I assemble the lasagna, then pore water around the edge of the lasagna. The amounts depends on how thick your sauce is. Perfect every time

I moved a year ago and still have a garage full of boxes. I lost my hubby three years ago and couldn’t stay in our big house. I’ve downsized about 1200 sq. ft. I got rid of a lot before moving, but not nearly enough. In the last six months, my depression/anxiety ramped up so not much has been done.

Your fridge beeped so quietly! I got a new fridge from one of the biggest European brands last year and before that, my old one didn't even have the beeping. Now, my new one not only beeps aggressively, but the light also dims on and off, which honestly is much more annoying, because my fridge is in a darker area in my kitchen and when the light fades out it becomes harder to read labels and best by dates, so I actually do close the door rather quickly, if only to have more light from the ceiling light that the door blocked somewhat 😅

That sounds like dislocation to me I feel your pain I’ve done it twice last was my little finger a freak accident I tripped over door step flew in straight into table leg snapped my finger was at a right angel I was brave snapped it back in. I felt very sick I went hospital got taped up then had to see a Phiso . I lived to tell the tale. Hope it’s not to painful for you . Congratulations on the new home.
