During my childhood, I learned English from watching my favorite childhood movie, Sesame Street. However, some people used to talk things about me when I tried to talk in English and made mistakes. That's one of reasons why, as an English instructor, I let my students to freely make mistakes when they are practicing their English and learn from those mistake. I never want my students to experience what I experienced in the past. I want them to know that making mistakes is perfectly fine. It's part of the learning journey.

1:13 Believe me, I am older than you : when I started to be interested in english on my own (apart from school) internet was something that one found installed in the personal computers of the High Schools, not so much in private PCs at homes. Firstly, I started translating dialogues of RPG and mystery games (only with a dictionary, in a sloppy way) so as to pass them, and maybe also trying to read some books. Afterwards I got a PC with internet when internet was becoming much more widespread in the majority of the world on a domestic level (more or less in the end of the 90's and the beginning of the first decade of the 21st century). Then it came the rest of my english interests : from subtitled TV Series and films to cultured literature through manga anime subtitled in english (because obviously I don't understand japanese), and finally, the possibility of leaving messages in interesting youtube channels as this. Evidently internet opened up a new world of possibilities and Naila is a ground-breaking and pioneer youtuber in bringing english (and its possibilities as a multifunctional tool) to Indonesia. This is her chance.

I love kind of channel like this. It is motivate me to go ahead of my learning proccess. Eventhough in my place I hve no friend to talk in english. I have been learning it for years by my own self and i just think that i didnt make any huge progress. Sometime i feel like slightly bored learning because of this. But when i see your channel (and also lingua marina's channel), my motivation that start to fade is coming back to me.
