One of my favourite videos on here, what a brilliant sound , it’s great to see that our traditional music is in safe hand with the next generation of Scottish musicians . Well done all. Fantastic pianist, what a talent . Brilliantly brilliant . Thank you .

A lot of influence of fiddle music, made it to the Americas, with the immigration. This song, is played by many french fiddlers here in canada. Many "rag" songs, which are fiddle only songs, are part of the early culture and was a bridge for the immigrants, and the aboriginal populations. They used music, to bridge their differences, and find common ground in music. Great session, many fiddles. Edit. Music seems to always bring joy!! Everyone is smiling.

If they are "fiddle only songs", then they're not songs, but tunes. Songs have lyrics. ;)
