Looking near new!! It’s definitely got a great chance to be quieter than before!! BIG win. I like the paint, but those nozzles are annoying. Would the place you bought them take them back?? They may have been old inventory. That’s what I have been told in the past. Powder coating everything would be nice, but your tolerances are pretty tight in some areas and it’s those areas you could regret the powder coating more than you would benefit from it. It’s just the generator ( I say this respectfully from my point of view, but it’s your vehicle so I will follow along whatever you chose to do) and will be mostly out of sight. The way you have it built I guarantee it will last twice as long as the other, and likely longer as you take such good care of your stuff. Nice work good sir!! Can’t wait to hear it in place and from inside the motorhome,,,,. We are still looking, ourselves.when we sell the van conversion, we are likely to take about a $40,000 hit in Canadian dollars, maybe even $45K, I bought at the worst time!!! 😂😂😂. Ouch! I’m in no hurry, but Momma is getting antsy,,,.

Yeah, they might have, never thought about it being old inventory… but looking back now when I went back they had a new box and those cans were waaaay better.. Oh! You’re going to upgrade your RV… Wow, now that is a hit… yikes! Yeah I think this summer there is going to be another big drop in prices, there is soooo much inventory now.

@@shotslife - Upgrade/downgrade. We will go to an older Class A with multiple slides. 3 likely as far as what we liked so far. It may be gas as well. My wife never got into the trucking or equipment side of ranching, so she is intimidated by the Diesel pusher with air brakes. You need to take a full on class here for the air brakes alone to be able to legally drive one. We should get into something for $60,000 to $40,000 less than the van. We have a buyer on the van, who is a friend, and he is offering himself a fair dollar for the van. He knows how we take care of our vehicles. He has actually driven the van on road trips we have been on.

@@shitloveaduck gotcha, so you have to have a class to use air brakes! Wow… interesting. We’ll keep momma happy!

@@shotslife - not quite, we have such a thing as a Class A without Air brakes,, haha. No trucks like that, but,,,. You can have your basic car/pickup license & the get your Air Brake endorsement. It was a safety decision because people would never drive anything bigger than a car, buy a diesel pusher & go crash as they ride the brakes down some long hills within a few hours of here. It’s still crazy they can conceivably go from a Smart car, or 71 Vette convertible (heh heh, I’m just jealous), right into a 45 foot diesel pusher or 40 ft gas job and have no special learning!! You have your commercial license, so no big deal in your case. It’s a step in the right direction to teach people Air Brakes are a special feature with benefits & limitations at least.

Hey Chief, I was wondering, could a fella hire a seamstress to make is nagging wife a housecoat out of this stuff? She could go one all day and you would never hear a word of it! 😆😆😆 This project used all of your skills: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, painting, drilling, taping, sheet metal, welding. The only one you left out: fiber glassing - Thank God!! Really nice work. I'm kind of curious to find out how much the sound deadening material actually works? You have saved yourself a ton of money doing this yourself. I am looking for a cooler place to live. The spring here is very nice. The summers here are in the upper 90's with high humidity, brutal. I'm a type 2 diabetic so the heat just wipes me out. So, I've been looking around for place to move to that has milder winters and cooler summers. I have looked in WV, VA, TN, a little in OH. I want to move where there are lakes near by (I don't know much about fishing rivers) 10-20 miles away. I want a piece of undeveloped land, 10-20 acres, where I can build a log home, a nice big garage for my toys and my neighbors aren't all in my business. I have lived in a neighborhood for the last 28 years where both neighbors property lines are 20ft. or less to my house. I need some room to breath. So the question is: what part of what state do you live in. How are the summers there. Is there undeveloped land still available in the area yo live. That's all I've got. lol, so true. So Ky usually has 4 even seasons, we do have a couple really hot months…. Yeah so I am south of Lexington, there is always land for sale, right now it seems,to be priced high, I assume this summer we will see that real estate correction… but we shall see. There are a few lakes around here, Cumberland is the biggest and nicest if you ask me, I live on Herrington, it’s not the nicest but it’s the closest to my family so here I am… also look at Norris Lake right over the boarder in Northern Tennessee.. I think that’s where I might have ended up if my parents were not in the equation.
