As someone who left siege quite a while ago i have no idea what is that, but back in 2016 shields were dumb fun. 2\2 recruit with 5.7 and a shied is hidden op

They removed shield from recruit a while ago. Basically they are making shield not hip-fire but instead can knock people down (like push them down) and throw nades, reload, etc behind the shields cover. They also all sprint like blitz but now when shot enough times they get a slowness debuff I wish we still had recruit shields. 5 recruits knocking 1 oryx down as dock, Thunderbird and rook keep him alive would be hilarious

I'm not gonna lie, as a blitz main the fact that they can shoot ur feet even though ur crouched makes no sense and is a absolute nerf. They wanted to make shield defensive but then they punish u for trying to be defensive

I once had a Rainbow Six Siege game where I played as the massive shield guy (forgot his name) and distracted 2 enemies and a team mate flanked them. I blocked their only doorway and they got shot through a window. They were shooting at me through two whole mags until it was a stand off. I stayed at the doorway so I don't get flanked myself.
