I love these mid to late 90s arcade/Saturn/PS1 shmups so much. The vibrant color palettes and CD quality soundtrack get me for sure, but this game's mechanical designs are damn good too; simple yet relatively memorable appearances

You know it's a weird phenomena to me that I can play bullet hell games or Danmaku games near flawlessly with no hit runs but when it comes to maniac shooter types like this I have trouble. Maybe because it's less focused on navigation through a pattern and more about raw reaction time? I don't know but seeing you play this makes me want to get better at this type of shump.
