For a mere $1400 a pop, industrial and logistics companies are guaranteed to see increased... workman's comp claims

Honestly for the price I would buy those for fun would be great to just use at like an airport or hotel or any large building.

For the price you can get 2 pairs of Adapt Hyperskate GTO's. You don't even have to charge those.

I was sure he said they were $30, $1400 is a different story. I mean maybe a couple of hundred but that's absurd. I'll walk.

The idea is quite interesting and the technology seems to be quite impressive. But I have a few issues with it. You can imagine the wheels getting clogged up with debris very quickly if used on regular streets with leaves and bits of rubbish lying around. And where they would be well suited, large indoor spaces like warehouses, there’s an issue with them being used to increase productivity and push workers even harder for less money. So that’s not good. Then there’s safety. They look pretty safe, but you can bet that if you give them to a lot of people, a relatively large number will find a way to hurt themselves while wearing them, regardless of how safe they are. A lot of people are just not very coordinated or are just accident prone with any kind of wheels. Similar to how some people make riding a bicycle look extremely hard compared to others who find it second nature.

Lol for real. It was not a good choice to use the informal "thirteen ninety-nine" with that accent. Hell, I thought he said $30.99 until I just looked them up.

Weren't there roller skate sneakers 20+ years ago?

All the stores that say 'no shoes with wheels' after Heeleys came out years ago 😂 but if they're $1300 then it's fine
@jarrodkober9 ай бұрын
There is NO way any company is going to allow or buy these for commercial use. Put people on wheels in a warehouse and there will be a lot of broken tailbones

They're not skates. They don't slip backwards

What about stairs and ladders though? It'll be annoying having to take them on and off at work, so then you should need stations to keave them at, etc lol😂

Our shoes have a lock mode and a "shift mode." Lock mode will activate the layers of brakes the shoes have, freely allowing users to go up and down stairs, wait at crosswalks, or stand around.

Yeah, anyone thinking these are in the slightest bit interesting should check that out. These are garbage in expected ways but also garbage in a bunch of surprising ways.
