Question. Is a strike only when you don’t score a card that you can score? This seems too easy?

A strike is if you can’t score a card or don’t want to on a turn. I have had games where I can’t score a card on a turn and have to take a strike. These two games happened to be good ones where I didn’t need to take a strike.

How turns are you taking,please ? Thought that you have one go with the cards you start of with.

One round is using the four cards. You don’t have to use all of them. Once you are done with a round, you draw back up to four. As long as you complete a card each round, you don’t get a strike.

@aftertherilebook5464, Sorry,I didn't make myself clear. What I meant was: it looks like you continued after using all but one card. I thought the idea is to try and clear all the cards. Maybe you started a new game but used the rules from the previous game. Anyway,I enjoy Shifting Stones and now avoid using strikes.🙂 All the Best.

I was watching in order to see how strikes happen. This video doesn't show one strike so it wasn't helpful.
