here, enjoy some random details from my DR (some of them are kinda stupid they just make me happy :)) its set at hogwarts - the moon is always visible from my bed - i can do the little wand spinny thing - i have heterochromia - even tho its like, 2021 in my dr lots of ppl still like to use quills and ink. - the quidditch team members get varsity jackets in their house colors - theres a 'field day' type thing near the end of the year competing for house points - im really bad at transfiguration - one of my friends and i meet up to do homework after school every wednesday - i always have a hairtie on my wrist incase on of my friends needs it - there are field trips to places in the muggle world for muggle studies class

i just wanted to tell you i told my little brother everything i know about shifting, we made a script together, and on his second try he frickin shifted,,,, i'm so jealous but so proud of him, he used the raven method. he explained everything that happened in a long way, so i'll shorten it up but he said he woke up in a really large bedroom and went outside to a balcony where he realized we didn't have a balcony, so he must have shifted. it was to how to train your dragon, he went on missions and stuff. we scripted together as a group shift, so he said i was there (i hadn't attempted and didn't even know he was trying that night). he said he has long ish black hair and glasses, gahhhh i'm so jealous. he said it was super easy, he just counted and than visualized

Hey Moni!!! Today I learned that the first peer-reviewed scientific research paper about shifting has just been published (see: "Reality shifting: psychological features of an emergent online daydreaming culture" in the journal _Current Psychology_ ). Academics tend to be rather skeptical people, so not surprisingly it treats shifting more as a psychological or mental phenomenon alongside lucid dreaming and immersive daydreaming instead of as actually shifting your consciousness to another reality. But the authors admit that this is an "important, uninvestigated emerging phenomenon and propose future research directions." At least the scientific community is starting to take an interest in this stuff.

Hey so , I started off with hogwarts like the rest of you , but before I had my first official shift ( realised that I was dreaming about shifting with no symptoms whatsoever.
