There is a saying and I heard this many times , Everyone can be replaced !!! Nobody's job is really secured !! There were different versions on why Frank was no longer on the show, and only ones who really know is Frank and Mike ! Frank has passed away sad but true ! As far as Robbie he seems to know allot so who better to be on the show ❓ There were Rumors why Frank was no longer on the show, but Rumors are just that and unless you know that facts then why even repeat them ❓ I will admit that American Pickers is not the same but to me Robbie fits in well but will the show get more ratings❓ My husband and I still watch but not as much ! Frank will surely be missed and our prayers go out to his family and friends! My Opinion !

Yeah...straight out firing the dude when he was ill is beyond low. Honestly if Mike gave a crap he wouldn't have let that happen. Over the years they switched out and subbed rob and MD in when the other was under the weather. Remember a time when Mike had a bad back and he sat out the episode. Although that wasn't over a hundred days. I just can't believe that this was solely for Franks betterment. Surely having a place to go after he gets better would have been more beneficial than firing him. To me it just seems like they just wanted him gone so Rob could jump in and they found this to be the best shot. Although this could just be the cynical realist in me. Eh who knows.

It was a great show the novelty of the show has wore off when it first appeared on tv it was something new and different nothing like it had ever appeared on tv so it was good while it lasted i guess life showed up and the rumors began swirling nothing last forever rip frank you will be missed ty god bless

Sounds, by the fan reaction here, Robbie is Ringo and Frank is Pete Best but he also reminds me of Brian Jones who needed Rehab when there was little, was physically and mentally messed up and unable to give what the show needed. Don't blame Mike...or Mick or that other band for the choices they HAD TO MAKE!

Contrary to popular belief, I quite like Robby. He is smart and well educated. I liked Frank as well, but he definitely had some demons in his closet. I do hope Franks health improves, but being on the road is contrary to what is best for his health.

Robbie obviously missed out on the charisma gene his brother uses so well. Especially when bouncing it off Frank Fritz’s personality. Like Abbott and Costello, they WERE the show. Robbie is a dull character and has no real screen appeal. I watched this show, staged as it is, but since Frank got elbowed out, even Mike’s chatty self does not inspire. If Robbie turned up at my house to buy an antique I would think he was certainly in the wrong business.

Robbie and Mike may be brothers but Mike likes people and Robbie is a crook. Robbie constantly low balls old men and women out of their stuff. Mike and Frank get deals but they are fair and honest. As long as Robbie is on the show, I am done with it. It was my favorite show but I cannot watch Robbie take advantage of people. I say it should be cancelled forever.

Meh. I never liked the show. It was always like man cave masturbating fantasy land, toxic masculinity stuff. Neon gas pumps, old car parts stuff that you can’t decorate around properly, Just stuff that most wives would cringe at. And I think that man that’s it upstairs was the point of the show. It was an tv fantasy. And also knowing that most of it was staged especially the part where they load things up at the van at the end of each episode without even boxing them properly, etc. it’s just absolute rubbish.. I’ve been an antique dealer collector since I was 14 and very seldom did they ever have anything that I considered that I would buy. Most of the stuff I liked I just saw on camera and they walked right by it. One of the things that come to mind is the Bittersweet Fayette vase they left without even mentioning it it… instead going on to buy those over priced T-shirts. Yeah. Like I know who knows about Fayette glass.?? Well, they were just going for the testosterone factor.

Robbie seems to lay it on thick about something needing work so he can offer next to nothing! Seems like Mike only wanted back in Franks life when ratings started slipping. I will now only watch an episode if it has Frank in it. American Pickers now sadly is trash.
