I just realized how similar is Star to Ichibe Hyosube. Both have similar power (Ichibe has the power to erase someone's name and power and renaming them and giving them status. Like if he names you "Black Ant", you'll have the power equal to a black ant), and both can manifest giant appendages (Ichibei stomps Yhwach with a large foot then clap 2 giant hands in Yhwach's face, similar on how Star clapped Shigaraki)

The problem is the super villain is AFO not Shigaraki. Since we learned he had always intended to take over Shigaraki's body he became again the main big bad. So this version of AFO might be the experimental version but I can see a story where the experimental version is destroyed. But the original takes advantage of what he has learned and improves himself even further takes down Star before Deku "World Wide Smash"es him into the ground.

Actually there has been a single case I'm aware of in which a character other than the MC killed the main Antagonist. Technically speaking. Isaac Netero killed Meruem. The Poor Man's Rose Bomb the poisoned him was his idea in the event he died. So yeah even tho it was a delay, Netero won that fight at the cost of his own life.

I hope Star wins and, rather than Shiggy dying because that would be an anticlimatic way for his character to end, he ends up escaping somehow during the massive explosions caused by Tiamat. The political fall out would play right into AFO's hands as his friends in the states can sow doubt and chaos within their nation, as well as Japan's government being untrusting of any and all outside help from this point onward. Tiamat has to be something scary like legit nukes in order for it to be something that would cause this big of a global incident just for thinking about using like the chapter highlights.

I hope so, at least a lull for the time being. This is well beyond what we were told what quirks are and are capable of so Shigaraki should not be simply walking this off. However this is supposedly the last arc in the story so I wouldn't be surprised if he did.

Blast radius I think was about maybe five miles? Fish and sharks just floated to the surface. Or there's the giant warhead bomb that Striker Eureka had strapped to it's back in Pacific rim. That thing was so damn powerful it actually created a massive pocket of air a few miles under water. That fact it was ten times bigger than the Jeager was unreal.

Second is that this is bringing back Bleach flashbacks, they are amping AFO/Shigaraki to the level that Deku can't possibly defeat without something seriously stupid being introduced (like a silver arrowhead in Bleach) or some stupid power that they will have to use. Star's laser attack is called Keraunos, which translates directly from Greek as Lightning. While Tiamat in-series might turn out to have DnD ties, the name itself actually originates from Mesopotamian mythology, wherein Tiamat is the Goddess of the deep sea, creator of the world, and mother to all monsters. It's a name that holds a lot of promise and I'm hoping it turns out to be something more than lots of high-power missiles

I keep thinking that this might not be the end of Izukus journey. Like Hori has something planned for the Mangas final battle, but will it be the series. I keep thinking that something devastating will happen that'll leave Izuku severely damaged both physically and mentally, forcing him to leave UA and Japan to recover. I know we're hitting the end of the manga, but is it the end of Izukus story? Or is it about to get to turn to a chapter? We'll find out soon enough.

To be honest it was stupid to introduce a random hero and than have her kick the Villains ass. You wasted the entire war arc making him look OP and now all of a sudden Ms All Might comes in and wrecks him? We didn’t even need this fight. AFO was already unstoppable, if this is just an excuse to make him even more op then I’ll pass.

AFShiggy survives with his regenerating plot armor and the battle is a washout. A great display of what America's finest can bring to the table, and a foreboding reminder of what Deku and friends have to square up against. AND Horikoshi makes it clear that SnS won't have funding for another attempt at this level. She might still turn up for the finale, vs Gigantomachia. That's pretty far away at this point, but we don't have any other individual that can slug it out with the biggest boy, and her being able to do that is on full display here.

They have established that quirks have been getting stronger the longer they have been around about 50 years since the first quirk manifested? His quirk would have had to be godly strong then and then be amped by OFA's powerstocking. So unless his quirk was something ridiculously stupidly powerful for the era (AFO existed so maybe) I don't see it. Its going to be something lame that Deku uses to "Save" Shiggy.

My kinda strange theory: Shiggy kills her, takes her quirk, fights afo and kills him, tries to destroy the world, fights Deku, kills him and then dies. I wonder, if it would be possible for her to bypass the true name restriction, by abysing its current capabilities, she could try to impose the rule of knowing ones true name upon herself, and then repeat the "you movie and youre dead" strategy, or, she could try the insta kill on herself, "whoever i touch, will die instantly" or, "whoever i touch, will lose their quirks". All amd all considered, she probably never faced anyone without knowing what it is, or atleast, she always had the chance to fall back on "hit it till it dies" strategy, and now when those two aint an option, it would be a great place to let immagination flowing, and trying something that may seem crazy.

@@thesimsfan12 what? Aizawa still has his quirk, his eyes are just fucked up and dry out fast. Only person who has been de-quirked is Lemillion, and even he's back after Eri reversed him. It's more that the league has been avoiding a fight with Aizawa, if anything. They fought him that one time at the USJ incident, crippled his eyesight, and then dipped. Though, personally, AFO is too arrogant to take his quirk. You're talking about a guy who enjoys decimating his opponents willpower, disabling their quirks to win would be a shot to his own ego.
