I can really see that Touya's quirk awakening is literally like flame control / Kagutsuchi from Naruto where he can freely manipulate the shapes of hot flames and not just an uncontrolled mass. Like a flame sword, flame arrow, flame drill, flame hammer, etc..

It does say that it doesn't work if the wound has been cauterized though. Idk, maybe if Dabi took a break from burning everything he could let himself heal.

I just read the official translation and there’s something particularly interesting I’ve found. Tsu didn’t say that she wanted Deku gone because of Togas feelings, she wanted him gone because of Ochakos. @Witten OMFG YES!! Dabi is absolutely one of my favorite characters. I even have him tattooed! I relate to him so much and I understand his pain. Throw in Shoto and Natsuo for me and Fuyumi for my younger sister. If Dabi dies, I think it’ll kinda make the point weaker because there’s not a lesson learned and if at all Enji should be the one to suffer the consequences of his own actions. While I don’t think he should forgive his parents at all, I feel that maybe he should at least reconcile with his siblings because they all went through it too, but I understand if he doesn’t want that either. He’s valid either way. Horikoshi has written him so well and I’m so fascinated with his storyline even more than I am with the main story because he is a character I see so much of myself in. I feel seen and heard and if he dies that will absolutely take a piece of me with him. It would hurt me so bad, but I also know that realistically so many trauma victims are left in the dust and are just looked over society and it turns them cold and hard and it’s heartbreaking. They deserved better. Touya deserved better. I absolutely loathe Enji with every fiber of my being and it infuriates me to no end that there’s people out here who make excuses for him. Like no. He deserves all the shit he’s getting. Karma is coming back and biting him in the ass and hopefully with a death grip. And Touya is absolutely valid. He has every right to direct his anger towards Enji.

@@burningcoal5705 The problem with that is we really haven't seen any of the quirks All For One has taken from others except for simple combinations; we have no idea how many quirks he really has. Back in the day AFO was a literal quirk broker who took and gave away countless quirks in order to build his underground connections and influence among the populace. In this time he learned he could combine certain quirks to make more powerful versions while apparently experimented with the bodies of his followers making them more durable and able to make use of the new quirk combinations... Maybe he even experimented on himself so his body wouldn't be ripped apart from all the quirks he was keeping inside himself. In summation I don't think giving away a quirk or two is gonna change how powerful AFO is in this battle, at least it shouldn't. He's too familiar with the quirks of his enemies that he has no doubt already come up with combos and counters for anyone and EVERYONE that the heroes could possible throw at him... But considering how simplistic this "final" battle has become I don't think that we'll even see more than three or four quirks being used by him and not even in clever ways or interesting ideas.

Ok. There are a few things that need to be said about the 2nd’s quirk. His quirk although I am pretty sure Deku DID trigger against Nagant, I am getting more sure it might be an energy blast. That or a turbo speed faster than he can handle. (Less sure on that.) They brought up the Nagant fight WHILE he was thinking of the 2nd’s quirk. I don’t think that’s coincidence. If it is an energy blast, (the 2nd looks like Bakugo and as rebel leader VERY likely had a quirk that AFO would want to crush.) that means combined with the power of OFA…you got yourself what is essentially a nuclear explosion if not WAY bigger just from stockpile power. Bakugo is fighting Shigaraki right NOW. And I believe he will witness what I assume is his ancestor’s true might. Deku’s eyes are looking more dead as time goes on. It’s just in too much similarity to the darker eyes of the other holders. And thinking of All-Might’s caved in eyes essentially, the more he uses different quirks, the more he exhausts his empathy. (And that equipment won’t do SQUAT ultimately they just can’t hold.) I know he’s flying at like Mach 5 or something but still. That island disappeared into open ocean FAST. (Endeavor moved around Mach 25 against High End so that really isn’t saying much. Even if he did just drop from the stratosphere.) Also I freaking love Tsu was just sitting there thinking yeah Deku had to go. Those 2 aren’t going to make out now and poking that bear ain’t a good idea. (But both noticed Deku’s thoughts on a girlfriend and he had locked them down. No doubt) Toga is TRULY bringing out her inner Shigaraki by seeing herself abandoned decides to make everything disappear. (Further making me think this might be where Uraraka gets gravity control at the higher levels.) We have a Godzilla Nomu…and I don’t think we’ve seen hide nor hair of the Godzilla hero from the 1st movie. (Which is canon now) so I think I already figured the base. I don’t know who’s in front of it but whoever it is looks down an arm and is currently getting skewered. On top of Dabi’s flames. Overkill is best kill. Speaking of Dabi, I know how hot each of the Todoroki combatants can get. Shoto got up to 1500°F in his season 5 fight with Tetsu. And now must be approaching 2,000°. Endeavor was REGULARLY using 2,000° against the High End and pushed himself to 5,000° when he plummeted from the sky with his flaming suplex. For ALL of Endeavor’s sidekicks AND Shoto to be held back, I’m thinking he’s at 10,000° TRULY bringing out his inner Azula. Now flying, falling apart and skin blowing off…yeah for this fight to NOT last 2 seconds because Touya just DIES, I think it’s time for the ice to come back. His hair changed color, he has a way torture Endeavor, he is falling apart, if he’s going to be anything other than trauma for Shoto and ACTUALLY be a fight, he needs the ice quirk. GIVE ENDEAVOR’S SIDEKICKS A RAISE FOR KNOWING THAT ENDEAVOR MIGHT BE AN ASS BUT IS A GENUINELY GOOD PERSON. (Rewording here) Endeavor FAILED emotionally. Something that needed his emotional attention more than anything he consciously distanced from because he feared the physical repercussions. And that distance made things SO much worse. But it was a conscious mistake. For the flamin sidekickers to say he’s been genuine working with us tells us that at the very least he doesn’t make lazy decisions.

I really hope that toga finally gets what's coming to her by tsuyu and Ochako because *Saving* her is too cliched and realistically that would never work or should. Dekus final quirk. From speculation alone. Is probably an OP energy quirk. Energy based quirks are the oldest in mha and since the 2nd user is from the older days of the verse it could be that. Now if it's a meta ability that means it broken we saw the meta abilities, re destro and everyone from that arc. Their quirks were wild. So you can only imagine how op this last ability is.

imo, that's better than him at 100%. that's been the original conflict: his being late or just in time, coming unprepared and adlib sht through until he succeeds. from when he acquired his quirk, to getting used of his superstrength output, to dealing with half-awakened shiggy, and so on. he's that very passionate unprepped hero that compensates his lackness of preparation with his head and skillfulness. it would be out of his character if he wouldnt struggle in the final battle and finish shiggy so easily at 100%. and to be fair, AFO has been nerfed down after that fight with stars and stripes, itd be unnecessary for midoriya to be at 100% output.

Then it would overpower his Ice Quirk and make him no different than Dabi, being unable to use his full power without doing serious harm to him. If Shoto gets a power boost it has to be for both quirks otherwise it breaks his balance and Endeavor would call him a failure too and probably try again with Rei since she's apparently forgiven all the horrible things he's done to her.

So either way Shoto's body can handle the flames, and then use his ice quirk to cool him down from overheating. (Also Endeavor doing that would literally destroy years of character development, he's not calling anyone a failure anymore or doing anything like that. Would make 0% sense.)

That's the highest possible fire power ever, and as @Pepsi said, shoto IS fire resistant unlike dabi, dabi's body was built for ice but his quirk was fire (a fire greater than endeavour 's) however shoto is the perfect balance of ice and fire. And whatever chemical reaction that makes dabi's flame blue is a strong possibility in shoto.

Shoto's whole arc is about finding balance and coming to terms with his inner turmoil and life circumstances; finding balance with the tundra of his past trauma and the fire that destroyed his family to find a way to move forward. If he gets a quirk evolution it HAS to be for both his fire and ice otherwise what was the point of Shoto when you're saying that the only thing that matters for his character now is getting more power? Then he's no different than Endeavor at that point and everything that had happened to Shoto leading up to this has been completely redundant.

That's why I think Shoto's fire will be white hot. Sure he may not be using his ice side much at all if only to sustain his fire for longer at the white hot temp. What would be even better is if Shoto did save Toya his flames would not be white hot instead of the hotter blue that hurts him, maybe even learning that from Shoto. You know the worst part about watching anime , that someday or the other we start to understand and sympathize the villains and start to love them but at the same time you love the MC so much becuz you have seen him grow and how he reached where he is now with you , you have seen all the challenges MC faced and hardships he has dealt infront of us and you dont want him to die so in other words we want the MC to win but we love the villains too and dont want them to lose . 1. Toga's villan name should be bloodlust. 2. I think the 2nd users quirk has something to do with turbulence. I find it hard to believe that All Mights punches were changing the weather but pure strength alone. I think since the 2nd user was the first one to receive OFA his quirk has been minimally accessible.

It would be jaw dropping if Dabi's flesh burning away was actually his body and Quirk surpassing the singularity like Shigaraki. Like he's becoming the living embodiment of the all consuming flame. And to Shoto's question of why Dabi never came back... WHY, the sugar frosted poop emoji, would Dabi EVER go back to a family like that!!?? A neglectful, abusive father, a submissive, abused, and insanity driven mother, a sister who shoves her head in the sand and pretends she has the perfect family even while everyone suffers around her, an apathetic younger brother, and an isolated little brother being brainwashed and molded into becoming his father's ultimate hero proxy that he was suppose to be. Except Natsuo wasn't apathetic. Fuyumi mentioned he and Toya were inseperable and extremely close to each other. We got just a single panel of a tired Natsuo telling Toya to maybe talk to his sister once in a while. A seven / eight year old kid, who had to listen to his older brother philosophise about why heroes have children (and who knows how many times he made that same speech). Toya himself mentioned that he always had Natsuo to cry to.

@@masterymasterson9920 Natsuo may not have been apathetic to Dabi but he definitely was to the rest of his family, especially after Dabi's supposed death by forest fire. I wouldn't be surprised if Natsou saw it as a suicide from Endeavor's neglect. When you grow up in that kind of environment with no power or support to stop the abuse and agony of your loved ones, you tend to grow cold to the world and those around you. As if you're creating a defense mechanism to help you cope with your uncontrollable situation.

So riddle me this, remember in avatar the last air bender the “avatar day” episode (if you haven’t watched it I recommend you do) . Remember how Kyoshi came out to tell her side of the story on what happened to chin the conqueror, well….: I think that’s gonna happen in my hero academia during the last battle. Initially my theory is the first user of one for all is alive within the quirk and that he’s been cultivating the quirk until it gets strong enough that he’s able to fight his brother. So in the final battle the first user might take over deku’s body to help him win the fight and this isn’t the first time we’ve seen this happen as previous users has intervened and helped deku out on multiple occasions. I know this theory is pretty out there but I’m curious what are your thoughts on how it’ll all go down

In the fan scan shouto responds "If that means that he can take his mind off you and keep being a hero....Then so be it" In the official translation Shouto actually says "If I ignored you and kept trying to be a hero anyway....that just might be true" Don't know which one is the correct version, consensus from people who know more japanese than me is the official one is correct. I agree on basis that fan scan version seems out of character for shouto and his current relationship with enji. He comes across as an endevour fan boy almost.

You know, I really want Dabi to have a healthy reunion with his family one day, but I know, ultimately, it's not going to happen. even if he turned from villainy he still has probably life in prison or something worse. Maybe a death penalty. Am I thinking too logically here? And also, he will probably die, unless, like some other people in the comments said, Shoto tries to save Dabi with his ice, or maybe Eri tries to save Dabi with rewind . Or maybe both.

Since it was already dead, it raises the question if Dabis function will change at all, since the dead skin was only covering other things, and he can easily raise his body temperature enough to kill any harmful pathogens that might make their way inside.

Would be cool if Dabis quirk awakens and it’s a partial icecquirk but rather than be half abd half it’s unevenly doted around his body. Where the ice/cold would come from is where the burns stop and the problem is that rather than be 50/50 being a much weaker version but the awakening draws that to about even. Problem being that even though he awakens something that could help him survive he awakens it much too late. Having it be drawn out from trying to cool off the flame he created rather than making it hotter ironically calling back to endevor only teaching him how to make his fire hotter.

Everybody says Asui was only there to protect Uraraka's feelings. But... she really did help Midoriya as well. Because if Uraraka's feelings were revealed, it would be an awkward situation all around anyway. Especially since the feelings would be revealed AFTER a serial killer mentioned her own. And since Midoriya was introduced to the concept of romance recently he would be out of focus and confused if he kept listening to Toga. So Asui is a great friend to Midoriya not just Uraraka. Or to "canon" shippers, a supporter from both sides.

Pretty good chapter tbh. It seems the second user’s quirk sounds more and more impactful yet sinister The more I hear about it. I bet it’s gonna make Deku more feral than he was against Shiggy in the last war. And regardless what the second user thinks on taking the safe option, it isn’t the best option given the scenario and shiggy with the quirk singularity. This is probably gonna bite Deku hard big time if he hesitates. Besides the confirmation that Sad man’s parade will 100% come soon, the toga and Uraraka standoff didn’t do anything this chapter so eh. The last part with Dabi going crazy and his backstory coming up has me very interested. A shame that NOW we have a break when a full fledged villain chapter comes along.
